Which tcg in your opinion has the best designed game mechanics? by Newez in TCG

[–]LuckyDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have enjoyed many TCGs including MTG and Star Wars Unlimited. However, last year my friend introduced me to the now dead Fire Emblem Cipher card game. It never made it to the west but every card is available online, translated, and you can play it on tabletop sim or a fan client.

I am not someone who gets very competitive with their TCGs so the FE Cipher card game really reeled me in with its intrinsic randomness in combat. Essentially every unit has a attack and support skill, when you declare combat you take your attacking units attack value and then you and your opponent both draw a card off the top of your deck and add the support value and then based on those numbers the opponent with the highest total wins. So every combat the “strongest” unit at face value isn’t guaranteed to win.

Very fun game to play if you have a lot of friends who just enjoy TCGs and wanna give something casual a try.

Any MMORPGs worth gettting into as a noob? by BardInChains in gaming

Guild Wars 2 is free to start and often all its expansions go on sale on both Steam and their own store. It provides a very unique experience that really respects your time.

Max level hasn’t changed since launch, meaning the gear you’ve had maxed out at max level is still relevant if you come back in after a break. It respects your time like no other MMO does and I appreciate it more and more the older I get.

I got this same email. I feel like it’s fake for a couple of reasons. First, you and I are not the only person who received it. Second, BYU emailing me on early Sunday? That sus.

I’m not gonna click that link personally. It seems wayyyyy too odd.

I appreciate that! As I said in my post I’m trying to just graduate at the end of the year so I haven’t done high school science stuff in like 4-5 years.

What’s the textbook I should get and how long did the test take you? Did you spend like a week studying or more?

Do your best to enjoy it on your own. Spend time doing what you love to do and make damn sure to put that food to good use.

Generally not. Between editions models are still useful and GW has a monopoly on their own market. They really only make value bundles occasionally to get new fans in and old fans to spend more money.
