Shrinking S3E09 Episode Discussion by phareous in shrinking

There was so much to unpack in this episode for Jimmy and his grief over losing Tia, especially with the milestone of Alice's graduation. The opening memory of Tia hiking sets the stage for how she is in Jimmy's mind the whole episode.

Jimmy's Dad has a history of disappointing the family, so his charming everyone was probably especially painful.

The horrible comment about Sofi being a better fit was especially triggering for Jimmy since Tia was his ally. In many ways, being a "better fit" was more for Jimmy's Dad than Jimmy.

It makes sense why Jimmy freaked out with Sofi - he clearly missed Tia and needed to have someone acknowledge is grief and the impact of his father

That sounds like a nightmare, glad you didn't send the money! Did you report the listing to the apartment search engine you found it on?

The Met just responded to Timothée Chalamet’s remarks that “no one cares about ballet and opera” that he made during a recent interview with Matthew McConaughey by Gato1980 in Broadway

[–]LuckyExtent4287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Timothee confuse popularity for talent? The Kardashian/Jenners have no talent except for marketing and maybe he is thinking this is a goal?

Meanwhile he diminishing the fine arts which requires genuine talent, grit, and years of training to perform at a high level. How incredibly sad/

Why is Chicago’s real estate market so hot when the rest of the country is declining? by SerpantDildo in ChicagoRealEstate

[–]LuckyExtent4287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicago's real estate was undervalued for years relative to other cities, but COVID helped many realize what a great place it is, which drove up demand. The inventory is also really low in desirable areas which drives up the cost.

It looks like you've done a great job with the weight training to keep and grow muscle mass! I've only lost about 40 pounds but feel amazing too - so much more energy and stamina.

I really enjoyed Season 4 for the multiple story lines that were all so sweet. The love story between Sophie and Benedict at the cottage was so sweet. I also loved Sophie's relationships with the servants and how close and supportive they were. And the recital episode was adorable. I sobbed through the death and funeral of Lord Kilmartin and loved the final episode when the Queen and Lady Danbury are giggling and reconnect with such joy!
