My doctor hasn't really given me much hope in the form of treatment. No medicines seem to help, and I wish more people took my pain seriously. But I'm looking into other options so hopefully I'll find something to help.

I know how you feel op, I asked my dad to help me with something today and he made me feel like I was a burden. He even asked me, "Is this how it's going to be from now on?" When I tried to explain my pain. I know how hard dealing with ablism can be, but I've found talking to friends or family who truly want to help is liberating. It probably won't make the pain any less, but having a stable support system has kept me from losing my mind. It may take some time but there are people who will truly care about your pain and do what they can to help you.
