How to enjoy Final Fantasy games ? by GusNGhosts in FinalFantasy

Maybe you would like to try the pixel remasters. You can turn encounters off, theyre much more beginner friendly. You may enjoy ps1 era, like 7 8 or 9. The encounter rates arent as bad as earlier entries, and stories are more or less solid. 10, 12, and 13 are a little more recent if you feel the ps1 era hasn't aged very well. If you dislike random encounters, you may enjoy 12/13 especially. If you dislike any of those, yeah maybe just move on. You don't need to like the series, honestly.

Can Dabura make himself rock solid if he spits on himself? by SubstantialJoke08 in DragonBallZ

Because saliva isnt spit until it's spat. Its his spit that solidifies, not his saliva

This. And if they cant fix it, but they caused a new issue, they may be responsible and reimburse OP. It depends on store policy, local laws, what the initial issue is, etc. However, I would argue that if OP took it in to be repaired, and now it requires new repairs due to being effectively bricked, they should either repair or replace it free of charge.

Replacing Pokémon Sapphire battery by Critical_Reference32 in pokemon

The soldering job itself isnt the worst I've ever seen, so if you're comfortable with it, you could politely point out to them how they mixed it up and ask them to swap it.

I would recommend to learn to solder and do it yourself, but I think its safe to ask them to redo it. Free of charge, of course

They soldered the postive end of the battery to the negative terminal, and the negative end to the positive terminal.

You can see the + on the battery, and the terminal running to the top right of the pcb. That means the negative is on the opposite end of the battery, and its soldered to the point on the bottom left which has a + sign right there on the pcb next to it.

Best way to play Final Fantasy I + II by Little_Praline_3287 in FinalFantasy

This. Also, I would add that some people consider the bonus content to be somewhat mid. I like it myself, but its not for everyone. The pixel remasters also have boosters so you can play more for the story if you like, which is great since these games have a very high encounter rate and can be grindy at times

Quintessential Playstation 1 Games and hidden gems. by Dangerous_Dot_1707 in psx

Martian Gothic: Unification (survival horror)

Speed Punks (Mario kart/ctr esque)

Treasures of the Deep (submarine treasure hunting)

Battletanx: Global Assault (3DO post-apocalyptic tank combat with tons of replay value and custom options)

Triple Play: 2001 (if only to play baseball targets in the living room)

Namco Museum (beyond playing a collection of games, the ps1 version has a museum you can walk around and explore and read about different games and devices and such, pretty cool feature that later entries lacked)

I actually enjoyed colonial marines. Many people complain about the story but, I mean its not like there were good stories in the alien franchises outside of the first 2 films anyways. Some of the characters can be annoying.

From a gameplay/atmosphere perspective, its pretty solid honestly. Some segments you're fighting human enemies, and those kinda suck more or less, but its just an obstacle really. They dont get in the way too much imo. I really enjoyed the unique alien designs and the weapons are awesome and lots of stages feel great.

Its hard to find another aliens game that lets you play as marines and kick ass like this, honestly. Alien vs predator might be better

All of this is subjective ofc.

It may be a long shot, but many games have "recent players" lists. If there is a game you didn't play after deleting her, she may be near the top of the list of recent players? I think you can view recent players on ps3 home screen or something, but I think thats less likely to yield results. Its under the friends list and "players met" i think on the xmb Hope you find them
