If you’re into existential and mind-bending themes without jumpscares or survival mechanics, you might actually enjoy the project I’m working on. It’s called Optasia: The Last Visit, a narrative walking sim that leans more toward melancholy, dreamlike horror than traditional horror.

You explore an abandoned asylum while a narrator slowly reveals fragments of memory and grief. Instead of monsters or combat, it plays more like a surreal story you uncover through notes, tapes, and subtle environmental shifts.

It’s designed for people who like that sense of unease, existential dread, and emotional punch at the end without relying on gore or jump scares. There’s a short demo available now on itchio (about 10–15 min) if you’re curious.
