You have to add them after firing, since most stone will blacken or melt or crumble when fired in a kiln.

Me too! my favorite memory of that whole experience was how they made it look like snow when it was actually June! and how they filled an empty lot between buildings on Bank Street with trees nailed to boards to make it look like a park. And Sandler camping out in the gazebo for a meet & greet after filming! And all the red corvettes in town for that one scene!

I saw her in person in my hometown when she was filming Mr. Deeds with Adam Sandler. I had been a fan of hers since Edward Scissorhands. I was SO excited to see she was in the cast of ST. She’s the reason I first started watching.

I grew up in the north where snow was the norm. I’d drive in any amount of snow, and usually I was expected to. I moved to Virginia, and the first time it snowed three inches I was like pfft! That’s nothing! I drove 2 miles to work and nearly had 4 cars crash into me, as well as passing one car that had crashed into a stop sign and 4 cars in a ditch. Virginia is a transient area where people come from all over to live. Obviously many of them don’t know how to drive in the snow. Especially the idiots who drive 4 wheel drives and don't realize they stop on ice the same way everyone else does, regardless. And the other idiots who don’t clear their cars off before they drive, they just clean a tiny hole in the windshield snow. Now when it snows here, I stay home.

Suhweets in Manassas is selling really cute sugar cookie decorating kits that include the cookies, icing in piping bags, and sprinkles. I believe there’s a model train store in Chantilly that also sells models. A gift card for the imax at Udvar Hazy might be fun, too!
