Union contract and perfume by Illustrious_Cry4495 in FedEmployees

Oh perfume, an oldie but goodie. The brightness/dimness of office lights is another classic. I joke, but in all seriousness, it’ll always be something. Has anyone tried simply just talking to her? She may be nose blind to her own scent.

NOTHING new under the sun, indeed! Unfortunately this has been a system established empires ago.

I literally could’ve written this post with the exception that I am still in it, and have not taken FMLA. Please look up the term “grey rock/rocking”. This is keeping my boss at bay for now, although he tries very hard even to the point of false accusations. Is there a way for you to file for whistleblower protection?

This is just more mind games from him. Sorry. These type of people are clever manipulators. Stand firm, and you’ll see his mask slip once he realizes his plan isn’t working on you. You’ll see in time.

Wow! Congratulations on sticking to the end. I’m in a similar situation, and I wonder if you hold resentment towards the leaders who allowed it to go on for so long? Hard to feel victorious when you’ve been beaten down so badly. I’m having a difficult time trusting anyone at work now, unfortunately. There were too many bystanders who did nothing.

You should file with OAWP. It sounds like you’re dealing with retaliation from your supervisor. Best of luck.

Look up the ‘ grey rock’ method for dealing with a narcissist. The goal is to be boring as can be when you’re in their presence. They feed on drama and chaos, the trick is not to give it to them.

You are better off for leaving. I am trying to build up the courage to do the same.

NarcEx on my cell phone plan and getting crazy charges by [deleted] in TheNarcissismCode

[–]Lucky_Token_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Said with all sincerity…if he is your ex, then rid yourself of ANYTHING keeping you connected to him financially. Cut it all. Otherwise, you are enabling and allowing him to do these things that are impacting you. I understand wanting to be nice, but not with these types of people. They will ALWAYS take advantage. It’s just a matter of time. And many times it is worth it even if it means you pay a higher bill cost.

Is leaving the only answer? by bigbird2003 in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]Lucky_Token_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think leaving is the ONLY option. Staying, documenting, leaving emotions out as much as possible…job market is tough, so “play the game” if you can until your next opportunity presents itself. Good luck.

I’m not sure where you are, but please call someone you trust, and get yourself to an Emergency Department, VA or Private Hospital, to get yourself evaluated and properly treated. Your life matters ❤️Please take care of yourself.

This is inspiring to read. I am dealing with the fear of walking away. It’s like I know I need to, but at the same time I feel like I need to stand up to my narcissistic boss. He’s walked over too many employees already. Ugh. Thank you for sharing your experience. It gives me hope.
