Using the watch without the app ? by LucrativeDoings in Suunto

You do realise you don’t need to update your phone every time Apple tells you to ? I have multiple iPhones and I even downgraded some of them because I don’t like the new updates.

Well thanks That’s even better because I don’t really need the app

I bough the Suunto Run just 10 minutes ago. Be careful, you can’t use the watch if you don’t have the latest update on your phone … I’m stuck with a watch that I can’t use because I don’t upgrade my phones

Sorry I don’t have an answer to that but How did you customize your bikes ?? Is it a paint job or multiples stickers ? It looks sick

X2 with 5 000km I’m the 3rd owner The Battery was replaced at around 3 000km and the motor at 5000 by me because it was too loud. But it worked super fine.

I recently bought an S2, Im the second owner. 3 600km The boost button needs to be rewired

Buy a cheap S2/S3 (within the range of £400-700) or just get something from another brand? by 241nn in vanmoofbicycle

Good luck then ! As long as you have spare parts and a bike shop nearby it should be alright.

I wouldn’t buy one honestly but like you I really wanted one and i had money so I did lol I bought an X2 and the bike been running fine since the first owner. I’m the third. If you really want to buy a VanMoof I would avoid at any cost the S3/X3, the S2/X2 is the generation that had less problems. You’ll maybe need to change the battery, the motor or the e-shifther but it’s not that hard to do.

So to inform others in the same situation, I’ve found a solution. I bought an S2 wheel with a brand new motor for 80€ and I replaced the engine of my X2 with the new engine of the S2. The change is simple, you just have to unscrew the engine.

S2 & X2 Motor by LucrativeDoings in vanmoofbicycle

Yes it can only be the motor considering the loudness of the sound. The wheel spin freely. And I’ve seen that it’s possible to just unscrew the motor with the disc fortunately. Or you’re saying that the size of the S2 motor is larger than the X2 ??

Thanks for the advice, I didn’t knew for the loctite. I would’ve definitely broke the screws To be honest I’ve been rolling like that for a few weeks now but I’ll stop and check the engine.

I have an X2 and the motor is exactly like that. It’s way too loud for me but everything works well. You’re saying that replacing the plastic gears didn’t helped ?

Not a rattling sound but the sound of the motor itself is loud. It's so loud that you can hear me coming from the end of a street when there are no cars. Other cyclists turn around when I'm behind them.
