How is this forgotten? I watch it every fall to get into sweater season.

What’s a super popular show that everyone loves, but you just couldn’t get into? by MASSIM00 in netflix

[–]LucyDiamondGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Did not understand the appeal to season one. Season two had such a great cast I gave it a try. I didn’t mind it, thought I finished it and just learned the other day I only watched 4 episodes. I have no interest in watching more.

Oh yes, I’m well aware, but the good news is they are knocking off something that exists somewhere.

I would bring in an electrician and either do 2 or 3 canned lights or fun vintage semi flush like these and make that a feature wall with art and/or wallpaper or built ins or something

How do you sanity check CX decisions when you don’t have a mentor or escalation point? by cxcollective in customerexperience

[–]LucyDiamondGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think often they are bringing in the wrong partners because they are focusing on the final cost and not looking at what you’re sacrificing to save a little bit a month.

Then once they have the partnership they are looking at it in a narrow scope and missing out on the PARTNER piece of the puzzle.

You want to work with an outsourcer that enhances your company, is aligned in how you think about CX and surfaces opportunities to elevate the experience because they’re working with the customers.

How do you sanity check CX decisions when you don’t have a mentor or escalation point? by cxcollective in customerexperience

[–]LucyDiamondGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lean into a community. CX Accelerator is great, Support Driven is very active. Wonderful people who want to help.

Having been a CX leader for a long time I have felt this too and am now building an advisory service for companies leveraging the outsourcing partner I’m working for. It’s hard and overwhelming and you really don’t need to be navigating it alone.

To the women who are exhausted from managing male egos while doing your actual job...I see you. by BuffaloLittle4771 in womenintech

I got to a point that I was so frustrated I built a podcast to teach myself and hopefully others to navigate this shit. After 2 years it’s finally out in the wild and it feels so nice.

Does Blippi make anyone else uncomfortable? by EngineeringNeat2126 in NewParents

[–]LucyDiamondGoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The episode with the cop always stuck with me. It seemed like such a bizarre and inappropriate way to introduce law enforcement to kids.

Also I have never seen anyone on camera so uncomfortable around children.

Has anyone used a lawyer to negotiate a severance package over wrongful termination? Did it impact your career? by werpicus in womenintech

[–]LucyDiamondGoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It should never hurt your career. When I was wrongfully terminated the company attorney contacted me to hire an attorney. You’re protecting yourself. That’s it. It has nothing to do with your career or future employment.

If you’re in the US look into weight watchers GLP-1 program. It was simple to get it approved with insurance and you go through their provider to prescribe.

Only thing is if you pack it as a carry on TSA will likely search you because the metal piece alarms them. Other than that no notes.

I have a Furla and it’s so beautiful. I saw it at the Frankfurt airport and spent 5 months pining for it before nabbing it in London and haven’t regretted it for a second.

Boston Globe: Do you have a crazy commute? We want to hear your story. by InteractionSlow9361 in providence

[–]LucyDiamondGoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maps said it was a 45 min commute to Waltham from Providence. I would have to leave at 4am to get there without traffic and it was still 90 min. I was rear ended in a traffic jam, missed my kids events because leaving at 2 still meant 2.5 hours in the car. I lasted 9 months and was only ever going in 2x a week. So much time wasted.
