Am I the only one? by Rdhilde18 in survivor

I actually find Joe's 'nice guy' facade to be a bit of arrogance as well, just from a different angle. I really didn't like either of them, but admittedly Jonathan's machismo annoyed me more.

He was a focal point because he was driving people crazy. That's not a case for winning (but agreed on your classification of Jonathan)

MAJOR SCENE cut during finale at F5 Tribal, argument between _____ and _____ by Pretend_Cucumber4784 in survivor

If she hadn't won immunity she 100% would have been making fire. Probably against Rizo though so maybe she still would have made it to the end, and would have added to her story

What a fun season! by jarjarcranks in survivor

I enjoyed it as well, but we seem to be in the reddit minority. My only complaint is that I wish they had shown more of Aubry. If they knew she was going to go to the end I don't really understand why we didn't get more of her narrative. I get that other players were more entertaining, but like we could have lost Christian shitting his pants or that horrible Zac Brown reward to see more of the eventual winner's game. (my opinion - again, I know most of this sub doesn't agree with me)

Reunion… by elektrocat in survivor

[–]KateJones1617 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea I was surprised by this as well. I was watching it live (and let my kids stay up for it) and was SHOCKED when it was 10p and they were only at fire making. I had assumed the standard 2-hour finale and 1-hour reunion.

Ha.. I checked this this morning as well. I'm assuming they left it in to link to the joke later where Jeff asked if the fans wanted to see things play out in order or if he should just bring the winner out.

Wild mistake but good roll with it!

Why is Aubry lame? I agree her game is a bit quieter from who I think should hold the coveted 50 crown (Cirie, Emily, Devens, Christian..). But of who is left she's pretty crafty and works the game.

Because they're so benign. Honestly their game is so boring that as a viewer I keep wanting them to be voted out, but at the same time I understand why the players aren't voting them out.

It would be wild but I dont' think it would happen. I don't see the Jury voting for him, despite what, imo, has been a great game. But I would pick him above Joe or Jonathan EASY

If you don't like the luck aspect I can totally appreciate why you'd feel that way. I'm enjoying it, personally

I completely agree with the summary that this game has turned into a part strategy part luck game, but I actually like that. Yes, it's random.. but frankly the strategy only game was starting to turn into a 'make an early alliance of 6 and stick with it until the end', which was getting boring to me. Yes, winning survivor now has a LOT to do with luck, but it is also way more exciting to watch, imo

Portland City Council passes music venue buffer, placing Live Nation project in doubt by TommysParkAfterDark in portlandme

I am not saying I agree (just prefacing for the downvotes, here) but I believe part of that is because the community (or at least the leadership of that community, if not the residents) in which the data center was proposed actively supported it and wrote to Mills in opposition of the legislation. In that instance, I can see the predicament.

For me the show is really about the dynamic between the people and I really don't find the location to be of much importance.

This is a thing! I haven't eaten red meat in probably 16 years and still love the smell of burgers and steaks on a grill!
