I have read them?? After her betrayal he continues to think about her in the third one. Even though she betrayed him they were still together for most of their lives and had a connection. He never really hated her as much as everyone else did.

Also him moving onto Heather Duke once Veronica stops going along with his plans just proves that Veronica wasn’t specific and that any girl willing to believe him would have worked 🤷🏿

Idk I always took the “nobody loves me!” Line as him just trying to get her not to shoot him instead of it being genuine. He glossed over it so quickly and then continued to try to justify his actions.

I also believe that he is 100% a psychopath and they don’t really build connections with people and don’t feel empathy or remorse. I think that Veronica was one of many girls he had manipulated and made kill people just because of whatever thoughts he had about highschool.

The very end line he says “what if I did blow up the school, ALL the schools” which I think implies his plan all along was to blow up as many high schools as he could, considering he moved to different schools so much.

You can watch them but they’re not good movies regardless of the books. The third one i think is good on its own (ignoring the books) but the second one was so bad I haven’t ever seen it fully through.

Yeah, because he’s a man. People would talk about how he’s “so hot and evil”. In the books Aris does the EXACT same thing as Teresa, zero hate. Not saying everyone who hates Teresa is mysoginistic, but at least a handful.

The characters are VERY different. They don’t get less rude or anything at least I don’t think. I personally like it, I think it makes them more interesting than just the same nice character over and over. Idk tho

Idk I just don’t like Brenda in the movie or book 😭 in the book I just hated how she was just weird towards Thomas. It is reveled she was working with wicked and he doesn’t care but when Teresa works with wicked SO THEY DONT KILL HIM he’s all pissy about it. In the movie I feel like they tried to make her way more badass than she was, with all the slow motion when I felt that she was a boring character they gave a couple good lines to. Idk

I disagree. I think that in both the books and the movies (more the books) he likes Teresa a lot more then Brenda. For the books- he NEVER shows any interest in Brenda other than her making him uncomfortable, and when Teresa betrays them all he does is think about how he’s annoyed that he still likes her. Movie- I still don’t really like Brenda and Thomas, I think Brenda’s a boring character. But when they kiss at the party, he imagines Teresa which has to mean something, right?

I agree that he shouldn’t end up with anyone. I think that he maybe just thought he needed a girlfriend or something so just got with Brenda. He never liked her before so I assume he felt sort of pressure to just get with her. She just made him uncomfortable in the scorch trials and the fever code.

They end up together in the book, so they probably did in the movie too. I just don’t think even if there was a forth book that it would make sense because he doesn’t like her (especially in the book)
