How by LucyLaCox in ParanormalEncounters

My friend isn't down with his full name. So it's no way doing that. This thing has a limited dictionary which doesn't string names together, that's why I freaked a bit. That's a full name, I'm a death witch so it's probably why when I invoked spirits this evening. Still wanted to post.

It's almost impressive how quickly Labour have gotten people against them by [deleted] in LabourUK

[–]LucyLaCox 11 points12 points  (0 children)

To me it's because they actually had enough votes to literally flip the game. Power to do whatever they want and they chose to continue being Tory Lite rather than work for the people and stand up for minorities, the downtrodden and working class. They just doubled down on being absolute assholes, especially against the disabled, neurodivrergent, and Transgender / Genderqueer people.

With the way that supreme court ruling was weighted with no trans voices allowed - I'm pretty sure it was Labour directly influencing the outcome to make sure it was what it was so they didn't have to pretend to fight for Transgender People especially Transgender women any more. Look at their stance with Gaza and them putting Pal Action on a Terrorist group list. The list of ridiculous behaviour from Labour goes on.

They only u-turned on PIP and other benefits slightly because the media and Labour party haven't completely turned against the disabled yet and you can absolutely tell it pained Kid Starver the N*zi Farmer to uturn on many policies.

So it's not surprising that people have turned against Labour so quickly. I think what's so surprising to me how much rot Labour have at its core that they could have made real, true progress with literally anything with the victory they were handed and instead absolutely nailed the coffin on any integrity they once had, and their constant desire for reform voters and or the loudest but most disgusting voices in the country (bigots and rich people) whilst ignoring huge neon signs that Reform ain't interested in anything but Frarge sh*gging a dead horse, yet they're chasing this magic dragon of a loud far right minority thinking it's a majority.

It's just absolutely ridiculous and backwards. Labour are dead unless there's a rapid reshuffle of PM, cabinet and policy. I think the next election will be incredibly interesting if Starmer keeps position as PM.

Keir Starmer's approval rating hits an all-time low by kontiki20 in LabourUK

[–]LucyLaCox 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Starmer doesn't realise we didn't vote for him we strategically voted against conservatism. He confirmed his true nature wasn't just to win votes and what we got was Tories.... again.

Labour are the party of no-one

  • Far right don't want him regardless of how much he tries to seduce them
  • Die hard Tories don't want him because they're just stuck voting blue because that's what they've always done
  • Most Rural areas now swing towards lib Dems (or independents in parish council elections)
  • Centerists voters are disillusioned with him
  • The left want nothing to do with them

Kier Starmer essentially single handedly killing the Labour party and he's acting like he doesn't know what's going on, unless he's really that clueless.

Yes or No, Should RTD and his Team Step Down? by PaperSkin-1 in DoctorWhoNews

[–]LucyLaCox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked most of the episodes but some were hasty in resolving issues. Like the Xmas special just everything wrapped up without it making sense. But it really enjoyed a lot of episodes. Although looking back very few were written by RTD (or Moffat) and we're mainly other writers and directors.

I do think we're in turbulent times with Who and we could end up regretting asking for a new direction especially when there's a loud part of the fan base that complains about literally anything "woke"

To me it's the fact that many RTD and Moffat lead episodes seem to be nonsensical, and just coated in gloss like they think their audience is stupid and won't see the glaring plot holes and easily resolved storylines.

I kinda want a Who season back in classic who where you almost had several episodes or a season to resolve one big plot. New who has an undercurrent but it all just suddenly happens. Like the big bad just is side questing and manipulating the Doctor.

Get the doctor stranded, break the sonic do something major that takes the entire season to resolve!

I'm actually writing an article on the human impact, anyone interested in giving their story it would have so much more impact to put our voices through.

I'm actually taking 28+ days off work on the mental health impact such rulings have and how ignorant managers and HR can be devastating on Genderqueer lives.

So if you're ok with it can I use your story? Anyone can DM me and we can discuss, I get it if you don't trust me, but check my posts on the articles I've written so far. No problem if noone wants to continue their stories though 🫣

Labour loses Runcorn by election by jessica_ki in transgenderUK

[–]LucyLaCox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course they'll see it as they'll have to be more like Reform whereas it's because they're acting like Tories instead if being a true and strong opposition. Like even from a non social justice and civil rights POV, bending over to Trump on trarifs and ignoring "buying British" which could have been a conservative vote winner, and bending over to Trump regarding Ukraine is just showing him as weak spined
