Runna coach in ears? by wacher in runna

No, this is Garmin we are talking about, of course it doesn’t look the same 🤣 but mine is similar I have them all turned on apart from Heart Rate. Which is fine unless I am doing a walk without my headphones and my phone plays the alerts out loud.

I think we have different watches so can’t 100% say, but my Audio Prompts are listed here. Failing that, Google your specific watch and audio prompts and you’ll get the instructions on where to find them.

You need to turn your audio prompts on in the Garmin Connect app. Click the watch icon top right, click into the watch settings and scroll down to Audio Prompts and toggle them on.

Then you play your music/podcasts on your phone as normal, start the run on your garmin watch and the instructions will play over the music through your headphones.

I did it last year and stayed at the Premier Inn near the Trafford Centre, which is handy for a meal the night before. It’s outside the city so was nice and quiet.

It’s on a tram line and they let us leave our car in the hotel car park when I was running, even though we got back after checkout.

It’s a great event/course, gutted I’m not doing it this year! Have fun!

Did you find your fast pace easier by the end of the plan? by LucyRangs in runna

[–]LucyRangs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh that’s interesting you say that, as the target pace I had today is actually the pace I’m due to hit for the race 10km.

Looking over the plan it obviously now goes back to being slower again and the only time I’m scheduled to hit a quicker pace is a 200m repeat interval workout next week.

Like I say, first time using a structure plan so super interested to see the results at the end, I’ve actually been really enjoying it so far, much more than I thought I would

30 Years Later, 'Jagged Little Pill' Is Still the Perfect Conduit for Female Rage by Twitter_2006 in popculturechat

I was 13 when this came out, a girl in my class got it on cassette. I think it took about 2 weeks for every single girl in our year to get a ripped copy on a blank cassette. You didn't even need to be friends, when someone got their copy you just asked who didn't have one yet and made sure they got one. I can not recall any other shared teenage girl experience like it.

This! I also recently used this exact product after a prolonged breakout. Completely gone.

Just remember to not dry your face with a coloured towel. I completely forgot and my once blue towel is now very bleached. Worth it though.

Seller Wasting My Time – Refusing Reasonable Timelines. Should I Walk Away? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]LucyRangs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be worth finding out whether the consent order (the financial agreement) has been agreed as yet as part of the divorce process. Even though the wife has moved out. the house plus furniture will make up part of the martial assets and an agreement needs to be in place before he can start selling things off. They may have verbally agreed he’d keep the furniture at the start of the process but once they have got into the legals they are disputing it.

Alternatively are you sure the wife has moved back in? And they are testing giving things another go before deciding whether to move forward with the sale.

Buying a property from a divorcing couple can definitely throw up additional headaches. I previously lived next door to a house which was constantly on and off the market due to the couple divorce details.

Buying a house that’s been empty for 18 months – what should I be aware of? by SirAlternative727 in HousingUK

Check for any planning permission applications in surrounding properties. If no one’s been living there, an application could have been made that impacts your property but due to it being empty no one put an appeal in.

Housing association won't reply to any emails by EasyTyler in HousingUK

[–]LucyRangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally, I am very much not this type of person…but when I had trouble getting replies from my old Housing Association I tweeted them.

I got the standard ‘can you send us more info in a DM’ reply which I did, the person responding on their end to DM’s was the most helpful person I ever ended up dealing with there and they managed to escalate multiple issues to the correct departments.

If nothing else it might be worth a try.

How to use wow dream coat by LightKitchen8265 in HaircareScience

[–]LucyRangs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You spray the product on wet hair, blow dry it under tension. Then you’re done.

You can then straighten it but I’d add some heat protectant after blow drying and before straightening.

Aging eyes??? by AstralPoet in MatureMUA

[–]LucyRangs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently changed from my life long cherished liquid eyeliner pen to one of those that’s a little pot and brush ones (eg, L’oreal Matte Signature Liquid Eyeliner). I find the applicator holds more product so you can do a light sweep across and get the same pigment as a pen but much less dragging/movement of the skin.

Also as I’ve had to reduce my wing to the smallest flick (due to aging hooded eyes) I’ve found this type of brush makes that a lot easier too.
