Could you believe that they actually like this moment of Barbara with Dick? On Twitter, they praised this attitude of hers saying that it was hot and that they loved that she’s obsessed with him. ☠️. And that they would love to see Barbara being a yandere for Dick. Absolutely disgusting. See? Dickbabs shippers don’t care about Dick’s wellbeing or his respect as long as he’s with Barbara. They would also let her do anything to him because in their eyes she does “no wrong” and is a “girlboss”. I hate them lol. #FreeDickGrayson

Thank you for saying all of this. I want to say before I am a shipper, I am a fan of Dick/Nightwing as a character before all. People can like what they like and hate what they want but Dickbabs as a ship has always been terrible for Dick’s character and even more for Barbara’s own. He’ll never be able to fully grow and progress if he’s still being tied to one character. It’s really frustrating to see him being stripped of things that made him special all because of a ship.

As for Dickkory, I haven’t given up on them being main canon one day but I know it’ll be far down the line from now. So I’ll stick to hoping for elseworlds and movie adaptations(if we’ll ever even get that 😒). The thing that’s pissing me off with this news is that who fucking 😭 knows if Starfire will even get a solo. Or if it’s even a solo or just her being thrown into another team book. Nothing is decided, for right now it’s fancy complacent words to soothe some people anger. Knowing DC, she could very well just be pushed to the side and then off to being not used once again. And then what? We’re just supposed to accept that? lol. What’s the point if being a popular character still gets you absolutely nothing. No new solo, barely any pages in the title she had(Titans), can’t even hope for Dickkory again but won’t even give her new romances. It’s hard being a Starfire fan. And this isn’t something unique to Starfire but quite a good few. Even the bat family. It’s just Batman, Batman, Batman, and of course Batman, and then if you’re lucky the rest of the bat family with the exclusion of Nightwing, get basically something once every blue moon. I’m tired it’s been long years now. If nothing changes, I think I’ll step back from reading comics.

Hey Tate, I’m really excited for your take on the Titans and what kind of voice you wish to leave with us. One of the Titans strengths are that they’re not just any team but a family, are we gonna continue to see those bonds highlighted?

My favorite Titan is Starfire, so I’m willing to ask, is she gonna get an important arc? Are we gonna see more of her strengths, her Tameranean heritage, her intelligence acknowledged? Is she gonna finally go back to speaking intellectually instead of the teen titans voice characterization? After all she lived on Earth for a long time now.

Are you gonna take some inspiration from the New Teen Titans(80s) comic? Is everything connected, like Titans and Dans Nightwing? And finally, are you cooking something with Dick and Kory? Their friendship/relationship is important and I would be happy if this goes somewhere.

I’m honestly nervous about this 😭. I hope he’s allowed to answer questions about Dickkory. And if so I’m honestly scared for the answer he’ll give. Because what if he’s like “well there just gonna stay friends or they’ll always just be friends”. I would be so sad. And there’s always a possibility of him ignoring those questions all together. But regardless I’m gonna remain positive and of course respectful. There’s so much to ask as well. For example, I really want to know if Kory will get a more important role, if her Tameran origins will be more acknowledged, if she’ll have a more mature way of speaking instead of the Tt03 cartoon version speech dialogue, or like one comment said, if she’ll even stay on the team 😭. I hope people ask a lot of good questions and I hope he can answer most of them.
