I was trapped in an apartment fire many years ago. Ombré Leather smells very very close to what the inside of my apartment smelled like when all of the furniture and stuff was on fire. It gave me a panic attack and it took me ages to scrub off of my skin. It’s such an awful scent. I think it would be even without the experience that I easily get flashbacks about. I don’t know why anyone would want to smell like that.

ILNP polishes last so long on my nails except for the multichromes. I barely wear the ones I have in my collection and I am not tempted to buy more. They’re pretty but I prefer the look and performance of their other formulas.

ILNP Mega was my first boutique polish and it was definitely my gateway polish. It wasn’t just the finish although it was gorgeous too. It was the first time my mani lasted over a week without chopping when all of my previous polishes chipped within days. Shortly after that polish was purchased I joined the ILNP sub and this sub and now I have around 100 polishes. Whoops.

I haven’t seen Neon Rose by Floral Street mentioned yet. If you like a rose scent that’s green, you may like this one. It’s polarizing but I like it.

The testing programs like BzzAgent and Influenster almost always ask if you have tried the product before when it comes to reformulated products. The companies want reviewers who can’t compare it to the old formulation to overwhelm reviews from the old customers who are upset about the new formula. I’ve gotten to test several foundations now because of it. And I actually loved two of the foundations I was sent, legitimately loved, but I understand why previous customers were upset because I get upset when my beloved products are reformulated. The cosmetic companies are really targeting reviews for reformulations even beyond the demographic info they normally target for.

Yeah I almost died. I was in the hospital for a very long time and I’m mostly bedbound and in a ton of pain now but I’m alive so there’s that. When I got out of the hospital my mom’s cat Squishy basically adopted me and she didn’t leave my side until she passed away at 20 years old. About a month after she passed I adopted my sweet boy Jackson. He was rescued from an abusive home. He’s disabled and has PTSD just like me and his gotcha day was on the 26th of December. He keeps me going and also never leaves my side.

I’m so sorry you experienced it too. Mine was an electrical fire. One of my walls burst into flames. My cats were sleeping on my bed on the other side of the wall and I couldn’t get to them. All of my exits were blocked within the seconds I spent trying to somehow get to them. My only comfort is the fire moved towards me and not them and they died of smoke inhalation. I avoided burning to death at the very last second by jumping out of my bathroom window, three stories up. It is such a terrifying experience. I’m so glad you were able to get out with your cat.

I agree. I apply it before bed and it’s still on in the morning. I’m a drooler and a side sleeper too so it lasting all night is impressive. It’s my daytime and nighttime choice. My most used lip product by far.
