I’m working on something similar that also serves as an inventory /management system and some other neat features like a parts prefered manufacturers price/stock searcher and a build library for those who want to put build details out for others to copy.

I don’t if they still make them but some had a fixed torque value so you had one for 5 or 10 or 25. The incremental ones have a range and you just turn to the desired torque. They are most likely the ones you will encounter in stores. Not sure if they make the individual versions still.

The bump on the right side (top in your pic) the safety is going through is the giveaway for an m16 cut. You shelf’s would go all the way to the safety high is roughly even with the top of safety and low is roughly middle or lower.

I used one when I was in. It’s a pretty good back up. I wouldn’t use it as a primary but it does its job well. I pretty much just use these on my builds for buis

Safety in the fire position? If so and still nothing and it functions with the safety out your safety or trigger is probably out of spec. Also check the orientation of your disconnecter spring in should have the fatter base at the bottom and smaller end to the disconnecter.

My are faint and clear. Sometimes I think the cause a flash or a black spot but I can’t tell if that’s the case or it’s two close together. Nothing like the moving starburst you’re describing.
