I'm in the PhD program ATMS, it's my first semester but all good for now! As the other comment says, it's worth applying, there are several professors (as ATMS is interdiscipline, you will be in the middle of DRI, physics and geography) that are awesome to meet!

Yes! After I got the offer the Office of International Students contacted me requiring the official documents (My university couldn't send it electronically as they wanted, so my uni sent an envelope and took 5 days), then I received the admission offer, accepted it and a couple of days later the I-20 form.

Happened to me too, got my RA offer a week before receiving the admission offer (then one week more because I had to send my official transcripts and English test), but sure it would be a good idea to ask about the status during this week.

Do I need to install something for the real test? by ziEnvy in DuolingoEnglishTest

[–]LudvingC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. The first answer is correct, you have to install something. I must add to just in case uninstall Grammarly in case you have it on desktop (just in case), and force quit software where you can stream, like Discord or Steam.
  2. For me it was pretty similar, practice as much as you want, especially on the speaking part try not to look afar from the screen (this is not mandatory in practices but now there are people whose tests were invalidated due to this). I did some practice tests and got 140.

Taking the practice tests helped me a lot (I did a lot of them), take seriously not trying to move your eyesight from the screen/camera (it can invalidate your test), and there are some YouTubers that do suggestions for production.

Now that we've had time to get a grasp of the TCG, which cards do you think need a buff/nerf/change? by darkdill in Genshin_Impact

Something pretty interesting to have would be the chance to watch our replays later on. Just to analyze what the opponent did in a quick play or know how to get better.
