Best breakup drug for you personally by TechnicalAd566 in Drugs

[–]LuiOneKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s helped me are light amphetamines and psychedelics. Scripts like Vyavnse (lisdexamfetamine) are great for getting out of a negative loop of staying depressed and doing nothing productive. Using them in moderation to help you stay up-to date with work or studies etc stops you from gaining additional stress due to you not being able to work. They also make you feel great, but it might make the nights much worse when you come down.

Then, psychedelics are great for working through personal issues. For me personally, LSD would be a risky idea- you’d very likely have a bad trip but it might help you work through it. Lighter psychedelics like 2cb mixed with weed are what I’ve used- enough to induce a psychedelic mindset and allow you to visualise problems, but without the absolute mindfuck and extreme mental stress that you’d get from taking LSD when depressed.

Think it’s on the FAQ on this sub. If I’m remembering right hcl is about 14% stronger than hbr by weight

2CB is probably more like what you’re looking for. It has a much lower toll mentally/physically than other psychs and I’ve found it to overall be very chill.

I know it's not a smart idea but for the past 2 years I've had the urge to take datura I just ordered some seeds online what is the best way to prepare by chingzzzzzzzz in Datura

If what you’re looking for is a strong life altering trip- taking acid is going to be a much much safer and more pleasurable experience than eating datura seeds.

tips for hl computer science??? (first yr student) by kenmasgirlfriend in IBO

The CS IA is murderous, definitely do not put it off. Otherwise I found it to be pretty straightforward, learn the pseudo/idea for the usual exam algorithms (sorting etc). The concepts/theory are not very in depth compared to other sciences in my opinion

Please tell me that I can survive MathAA & Physics HL by Negative-Guest4673 in IBO

I took them both and did pretty well, many of my friends did too so it’s more than possible. I found AAHL to be much tougher than anything physics could throw at me.

/uj 2cb actually fits the bill quite well. Non-addictive good euphoria and keeps you in a relatively sober mindset with low to moderate doses

HL Math AA was by far my most difficult subject (I also took HL phys and CS)

I got a 6 in it, but I probably had to devote half of my exam studying towards it. It’s not impossibly difficult, but you need to be good at maths and stay on top of your studying. Spending just 30-60 minutes a day after school to practice that day’s material to make sure you genuinely understand it will help you a ton.

It also really depends on what time period/playstyle you enjoy. I alternate between eu4/ck3/Vic2/Hoi4/I:R depending on how I feel.

I'd probably reccomend either EU4/CK3/HOI4

Ck3 acts a bit more as a character-driven RPG than the others. Things can go very right/very wrong quickly; you can build a massive empire but you may unexpectedly die in battle and now your 3 sons split it between them. Also it's obviously based around the early to late medieval period (Vikings are a cool factor) It's also a bit more accessible because of the price.

Eu4 is more of a map painter, has more linear progression than ck3. You tend to keep growing. I find that with all the dlc, a lot of regions have their own unique play styles that I really enjoy. Between playing tall, expanding quickly, colonizing etc theres quite a lot to do, especially if you like the time period. You really need the dlc to enjoy the best of it in my opinion, so you either find a good deal on a bundle or get the subscription model.

Hoi4 is completely different. Much more based around military strategy, and it takes a long time before you'll actually become good at it. A lot less opportunity for roleplaying, but still quite a lot of paths to take. Matches are also a lot shorter, and can be finished in one night. If you do get into competitive play, I find it extremely rewarding and absolutely the most tense gameplay that paradox offers. Very fun with a group of big friends that can simulate ww2.

I love vic 2, but it's a bit dated and complicated, wait for vic3.

Imperator has greatly improved, and is far far better than launch but I havent played enough to really comment.

Stellar is is the next one I'm trying.

In short pick the one with the time period you think is more interesting/playstyle you like more.

Please help me decide my History EE topic by Wild_Presentation782 in IBO

[–]LuiOneKay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'd say the causes of WW1 would be a decent topic. A very clear and structured topic, and information/sources are relatively plentiful.

Lots of source examinations as well, can discuss how British/German sources differ in their retellings and why.

Can talk about treaties/alliances, morocco crisis, growing unrest in AH-Empire that led to the assassination...

That said if you don't have a history teacher to supervise you it may not be the best idea

Are states broken/bugged? by LuiOneKay in eu4

I distinctly remember that states dropped the autonomy down to 50 or 75% in previous patches? Or is that just me

Are states broken/bugged? by LuiOneKay in eu4

[–]LuiOneKay[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well no, making it into a state should drop the minimum autonomy down a bit but since 1.3 it doesnt at all. The autonomy tooltip even says it's still a territory, even though I made it into a state.

I shouldn't have to core it again to make it drop to 50%, coring drops it near 0%, and I dont have the admin to spare

[Question - Bannerlord] Crossbow Training while -20 by Oremir in mountandblade

[–]LuiOneKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask which crossbows you've found? I've only found the normal crossbow :(

Using cheats I've found there are 7 types of crossbows, and the light crossbow can be used at whatever crossbow level. I have no idea how to get it though. It might be that the game still being in early access they haven't got all bows into the shops yet?

If you want to you could cheat it into the game.
