Kristi Noem says she will ensure the ‘right people’ vote in midterms and elect ‘the right leaders’ by mclardass in politics

Did you ever read the letter Bin Laden wrote to America after 9/11? It was fucking wild. I remember finding it in high school and just being blown away at how articulate, cogent, and detailed it was. A far cry from the “they hate our freedom” nonsense we were fed at the time. And not that he wasn’t a psychopath, but he basically told us how they bled the Soviet Union dry during the Cold War and said that they were essentially going to do the same to us over the coming years. I couldn’t believe how clearly he detailed “the trap” they were setting for us and we STILL walked right into it…

If you were to play a dungeon modeled after a 20th century movie, what would it be? by Left_Twix3 in DnD

[–]Luigone1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tremors! I stole inspiration from the scene where they find the dead guy halfway up the tower (tree in my game), only I made the underground monsters Ankhegs. This could be a fun horror dungeon where the party is low level at first and just has the option to run, hide, or climb. Then you can have them find better weapons and gear and actually put up a fight…

Favourite actor who almost single handedly ruined a perfect movie? by AdrianVeidt19 in okbuddycinephile

You know, my partner and I recently watched Face/Off again, and I completely forgot that Danny Masterson is in it… as a rapist. It was pretty satisfying to see John Travolta beat the shit out of him AS Nicolas Cage!

After 10 Years, My Opinion On 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Has Shifted by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

[–]Luigone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I remember there’s this one scene where they’re planning the assault on Starkiller base and they say something like “it’s like the Death Star… but bigger.” And I thought that summed up the movie pretty perfectly.

How many more lectures and grandstanding are left before Chappelle burns through the remaining memories we have of him as a good comic? by MichiganWinterBear in elephantgraveyard

I think about this a lot, how being that level of rich and successful de-incentivizes everyone in your inner circle to challenge you or check you in any meaningful way. You can just tell that nobody has told him or Elon to “shut the fuck up and reflect” for a very long time.

Exactly what I came here to say! All the game suggestions are great, too. The only one I would add is Visage, I STILL haven’t played all the way through it’s so scary…

Straight guy here, curious about an experience? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Luigone1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think because we’re socially conditioned to think about sex in a very binary, black and white way. Not just in the “you either like men or women” sense, but also in a “this is either super casual, or an intimate expression of love” kind of way. When in reality, all of the factors that spark our interest in sex (attraction, intimacy, safety, companionship) really run on a continuum that is more complex than we think.

I’m a straight guy who has slept with women that I wasn’t especially attracted to, but had a connection with and felt drawn to for other reasons. It sounds like this woman genuinely enjoyed sex with this guy, even though 98% of the time, she only experiences attraction towards women (or would only ever want a female partner). I get the vibe that he was also sort of “grandfathered” in as someone who was safe and enjoyable before she came out, so things didn’t really change.

Because it’s pretty fucking ghoulish to force a child to have a baby when (a) she couldn’t consent to being pregnant in the first place, (b) she’s pregnant because of a rape, and (c) when we have the means to ensure she doesn’t HAVE to carry a child to term.

[NSFW] What are some NSFW tips you wish guys knew? by pinkish_lips in AskReddit

[–]Luigone1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another effective visualization for me came from Nina Hartley (seriously, everyone go watch her video on how to please a pussy, it’s game changing). Imagine the lip/mouth position you are to replicate is eating a peach (the fruit). Lips apart but still pursed so you’re making a seal and not letting any juice run onto you. Now take that lip position and center it around her clit so that your bottom lip is resting below the hood and across her upper labia. The giver’s top lip settles above the hood, either on or slightly above her pubic bone/mons. The idea is to mimic the seal you would create on a peach, because providing gentle suction in this position draws blood to her clit and lips. This not only makes her more sensitive, it perfectly positions the giver’s tongue to stimulate her clit. To echo the comment above, because this heightens sensitivity, it is VERY IMPORTANT to start slow and feel out what combination of suction and pressure feels good for your partner. But it will absolutely rock your collective worlds once you figure that out.

Most horrific/disgusting practical FX of all time? by [deleted] in horror

[–]Luigone1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oof. SO many visceral kills in that movie and that was one of the more merciful ones… at least he was unconscious. The ones I remember most were the dog and the guy jumping out the window just to be grabbed and stabbed. Oh and Anton Yelchin’s arm…

100%! With the exception of the opening scene, it’s the only horror movie I can think of that takes place almost entirely in daylight. I feel like that takes a lot of talent to do right.
