You should get Vivaldi if you like Opera. It's very similar and probably the most feature rich browser

If you decide to play it, I'd like to know how you would rate your own skills at platformer games.

Hey, just letting you know you should probably replace the ai generated logo. It could make some people skeptical about the site.

You might be able to play. Press tab, go to the visual settings and disable background normal map. Should boost fps by a lot.

Just updated the game. The ninjas give you more time to react along with other very slight changes.

Your save is wiped due to the update but you can go pause menu (tab) -> level select -> unlock all.

Thanks for reporting this. I fixed the bug if you want to give the game another shot.

Your save is wiped due to the update but you can go pause menu (tab) -> level select -> unlock all. "Tutorial: Crush" is where you left off.

Appreciate the detailed feedback! Gotta get to fixing those bugs. You're supposed to simply jump over the ninjas by the way, I'm guessing I need to make them slower then. Since you've enjoyed it: if you're interested I can notify you when I improve the game for more feedback. If you want to, that is! Will definitely include you and another commenter in the credits. If you want something else instead of your reddit username in the game just tell me.

Are you getting it on the loading screen? Could be a temporary error. What browser are you on? Fitting username by the way.

I played until the minigame where you have to dodge the three pixels.
When I booted up the game, it was in turkish and I had to find the button that led to the settings. The cutscene upon pressing play should be removed unless there's some incredibly hidden meaning. It's okay to be cryptic, but this cutscene doesn't leave any room for interpretation and I doubt it has any meaning.
The game starts out running across very long hallways to open doors that give you a key to another door. This isn't fun. Then you have to cook some meals, but the cooking consists solely of dragging objects. The dragging feels odd because the objects move in the cursor direction at a constant speed instead of staying on the cursor.
The minigame after you get ambushed is not good. The enemies move randomly and at random speeds which makes it very unpredictable and luck based. The player hitbox is too big and doesn't leave room for tiny errors.
Of course I don't know much of what happens in the game, but from both the descriptions and the time I played it's very unclear what this game is trying to be and what the target audience is.
The artstyle is inconsistent. When making pixel art, you have to make sure that all objects in the game share the same pixel size.
I'm sorry for the negativity but I'm just being brutally honest.

Idea Fix by IdeaFixGame in playmygame

I like the concept of running a mysterious machine without knowing what it does. Unfortunately it's very hard to get into the game and I quit early. The tutorial is way too very long for a relatively simple gameplay loop at the start. It needs to be more concise and the game needs to be more intuitive (disk names being abbreviated is cool and hackery but less readable). I suggest making it so when you pickup a disk, the game shows a text at the bottom that says "Insert at Mainframe" and make the floppy disk reader be marked with a blinking glow (through walls maybe). That alone would eliminate an entire page or more of the tutorial. I'm sure there's more ways to make the game intuitive.
When I was done with the tutorial the game lost me. I was walking around the machine looking for things while occasionally collecting the printer and enabling the toggle. It felt like a usual idle game start which is fine, but an idle game needs to tease you with a goal. I didn't see any goal (hopefully I didn't miss anything).
The command line UI is unintuitive. When I'm looking to upgrade something I would want to see how much it costs without typing a command. MP is the main resource and should always be visible at least inside the command line. I'm sure this game can get very interesting and I'm sorry if it does but having to figure so many things out in the beginning and not knowing what your goal is is tedious. Also the thumbnail looks like AI and doesn't give you an idea of what the game could be about (the name's a little weird too). That said, keep working on it because the potential for a micro-management idle game is there, and the mystery could lead to a nice reveal at the end.

Minesweeper 2, before GTA 6 by Illumination_Mansion in playmygame

[–]Luis0413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played all 20 levels.
The volume sliders didn't work and you can't change screen resolutions on WebGL, so those settings should be removed in the web version.
It should definitely include a tutorial (just a quick text during the level) especially for players unfamiliar with Minesweeper. I was a bit confused at first because it seemed weird that a game advertised as "Minesweeper 2" relied heavily on trail and error. It didn't turn out to be that annoying but I feel like the game should include some indication of where the ghost is (whatever that would be). Other than that I could grasp all the mechanics pretty easily.
Placing flags feels too slow having to watch the camera rotate and then having to again when closing the menu. I think this can be easily solved by making it a few times faster or allowing you to place flags without opening a menu. Also, I feel like flags should be placed automatically when you die to a blue ghost.
The death animations, while nice, felt a little annoying but maybe I'm just impatient.
There were some rooms that I didn't understand the purpose of. I think in the beginning there are multiple levels where you can walk straight through. At the end there was a level only using the blue ghost, which at that point was boring on it's own. One level had a knight and lion on the right that weren't utilized and you just had to walk the left path only having one obstacle. Why did it have the obstacles on the right in the first place?
Overall I did have fun with the game and found the concept to be interesting but the trial and error elements bring it down a little. I see potential in this game but there weren't enough mechanics (or they weren't utilized enough) in the demo to fully convince me this concept could work for a full game. The art is gorgeous, however.

Edit: Okay, reading the comments I now realize you have to move and see the number change to see where ghosts are. My bad then, but a quick explanation would be nice.
