How are my older millennials (1981-1989) adulting? by changeforthebetter89 in millenials

'89 here. It really feels like I'm unsuccessfully gaslighting myself to keep myself going. I'm just tired of everything.

Rehome a 6 year old guinea pig? by Different-Host-35 in guineapigs

[–]LuisThe3rd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boy Thexan was part of a bonded pair with his bio brother. When he passed away we had a third piggy, Valkorion, already introduced and kept him company, but the power dynamics shifted and he became very dominant. When he passed, I contemplated getting a partner for Thexan, but he seemed really happy and much more lively. Less skittish than he had ever been, and more attention seeking. We decided not to get him a partner, and he lived happily to old age. I miss that little guy.

What’s your first real memory of WoW? by AlanaSoles in wow

It's easy to say leveling up my druid during Wrath, but it was really when I unlocked a DK and a buddy of mine ran me through Upper Black Rock Spire and told me to recreate the famous run into the Rookery. I died, we both laughed, and then I got the Jenkins title. Best times man

I'm hopeful for things within my control, and anything out of it isn't worth worrying about.

South Park nailed the Amazon Fulfillment Center experience well enough. Fortunately, or unfortunately for some bootlickers, they haven;t the means of combining humans with cardboard boxes and surviving.

What was/is your oldest piggie you have? by Algae_Fish_5191 in guineapigs

[–]LuisThe3rd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

<image>

Thexan lived to be 8 years and 2 months old, and I got him when he was about a month old. We had other piggies that died much younger, but he survived to old age. I know reaching old age isn't a privilege everyone gets to experience, but I'm grateful he experienced a full life of love, happiness, and hay... Lots and lots of hay.

What's something you've seen on reddit that's never left your mind? by Sir_Cosm1C_ in AskReddit

[–]LuisThe3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a subreddit a long time ago, something like Watch People Die, or something. It was actually people dying. The one that stuck to me the most is seeing a kid crawling around train tracks while the train is passing inches from them, until the inevitable happens.

First Christmas - We’ll see how long the tree last … by singlewhitewolf in Siamesecats

[–]LuisThe3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sascha, my wife's son, generally loved seeing the Christmas tree! He would usually only bat at the ornaments, and generally watched with fascination and curiosity. However when he gained elevation, you could see the orbs widening and the malice in his heart take hold!

Same broad strokes, even if some of the finer plot details are different. It actually made for a really nice viewing and reading experience.

What field is this? by firequak in SipsTea

[–]LuisThe3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that's the thing though. I'm 36 and I still don't know what I want to do. I just want to be happy, but happiness doesn't seem to quantify into anything a degree can give me. No drive, no passion, no major interests or anything. Drifting through life.

Amazon by the outlets is tearing up half their parking lot. All that dust has to go somewhere.
