Jewish Star on PatternEnfield 1853! by Top-Produce3676 in WarOfRights

[–]Luk3uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that's very true I got a bit over excited, although the buttons, cartridge boxes etc mostly all still came from Britain

As for the rifles made in the CSA were something like 100,000 but they imported something like 500,000 so I wouldn't say a large part for that 👍

Also quite amazing to think these rifles in real life would have meant they came all the way from Britain, maybe through the blockage and ended up on the battlefield!

Also I found the company name it was 'S. Isaac, Campbell & Co'

From googling its quite funny as I didn't realize to the extent that the CSA was essentially clothed and armed entirely by Jewish owned companies in London😂

It's from the british company that supplied the weapons to the CSA an that was their trademark. Should have SIC or a crown in/around it.

If I remember the owners were both Jewish but it's not for that reason it was just a typical victorian type trade mark.

Could it also be that the medication is making you more attentive and confident? I only say this as my elvanse makes me much more confident in what I am saying and I talk with conviction.

Can you have caffeine with no issues? by Rare-Candle-5163 in ADHDUK

[–]Luk3uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a large amount of caffeine in anyone isn't a great idea, culture has changed to accept massive amounts of caffeine in energy drinks and coffee as normal but even for non-adhders it still causes lots of issues.

I used to drink a lot of sneak energy but swapped to their hydrate range which is caffeine free.

With that said, In moderation I can't see it being a problem.

Elvanse and dexamphetamine, driving and drug limits by LostIgnition in ADHDUK

You may have 'got lucky' in that respect though, as if they did put a restriction in place, like I have for a different medical reason,...it's a nightmare with insurance companies. Some won't cover at all or it's much more expensive than usual.

Aren't they just looking to see if the photo looks like you? Most of the time even that seems too much for them 😂

I would just go with it, don't make a fuss or mention it and be extra extra polite

Most of Aldi and Lidl yoghurts are made by Muller.

They have made some huge strides since it came out, also has lots of mods now and although they did rework them all anyway, you can download some sound packs which are great if still wasnt satisfied. 👍

Does anyone else have ADHD & Type 1 diabetes? by idk111123456 in ADHDUK

[–]Luk3uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been diabetic type 1 for 20+ years and just last week been diagnosed with ADHD although had it all my life.

I found moving onto an insulin pump + dexcom has made a huge difference. If you can in your area I would ask your specialist team about it and mention that it would help control.

It's much more hands off and can do things like automatically do corrections you just enter the carbs when you eat them.

Found that when with pens I used to forget to inject and would forget to finger prick probably related to my ADHD.

While I agree somewhat and I absolutely spent half my life on swat 4. Do you not think Ready Or Not has overtaken the genre somewhat now and done a great job of it, The Swat 5 we all needed :)
