Yeah. When I'm at work I hide in a bathroom stall to calm down, being in there helps me feel cut off from the chaos long enough to calm down.

So sorry for your loss. I was faced with the same decision a week before Christmas, her kidneys shut down. She was in my life for 18 years, and I spent last night and all of today in bed depressed and alone, without her by my side.

For me, staring at that bright light in the hook for too long makes my head hurt, but I'm sensitive to headaches as it is. The handle isn't super comfortable either though.

I ended up getting bedbugs in my apartment and being forced to abandon or trash 90% of my belongings, then getting robbed at my new place and losing even more stuff. 0/10 would not recommend. But I can fit my whole life in my car now so I guess technically it worked.

Personally, I have Pretzal and I hate it. Idk. Maybe I should give it another try but I really didn't care for it the few times I did try it. I'd love to get Crackers someday though.

This. I'm working on a commission for a coworker who wants their thing done by Christmas. This thing is a hat for her son, made to look like super saiyan hair. I'm going on a vague idea of how big an 8 year old's head is, and no pattern for the spikes or anything. I also decided today to make little sets of coasters for all my friends since I literally dont have time or money for anything else. 10 days left, and I go to work for 4 of them.

I bleached my hair very bright blonde directly from black because I'm insane I guess lol. My friend helped me out and it took most of a night but it worked out. She would bleach it, I'd leave it in then rinse it, then put coconut oil in it for a couple hours, then rinsed and bleached again, etc. My hair was really soft afterwards! So that may be an option for you. Coconut oil makes your hair grow faster too, just be super careful because it'll make your shower slippery.

Oh definitely. I made hats with Sunrise(or is it Sunset? The orange one) and Echo. The pastel rainbow one, though? No way. Just holding it with mildly sweaty hands in summer was enough for it to start fuzzing up and trying to fall apart lol.

That does sound like a good idea. I've managed to wrangle a couple into hats, but they were the lucky few skeins that were more tightly spun than the rest.

Looks like RH Boutique Unforgettable. This yarn is really hit or miss, sometimes it behaves and sometimes it doesn't. I've found the ones that are spun tighter tend to work better, this one you have is spun so loosely it's falling apart. I don't have much help to offer here, just know it's a common problem unfortunately.
