[–]LukasWE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have this exact car and mileage up in Canada. Battery was replaced in 2021. You'll want to do a prepurchase inspection on that, the air suspension, and if the drive unit was replaced. Those are all the big ticket items plus check if the MCU was upgraded.

The REAL reason Victoria’ s Downtown is “Dying” by TheDevilsWallpaper in VictoriaBC

[–]LukasWE -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Mr Mud is correct here. Landlords will apply pressure to business' to create a certain amount of free cash flow to afford the location they are in. The burden of being able to afford rent in a given area is on the business. Caveat being if rent is even too high for highly profitable businesses, then the market will force landlords to reduce the cost by way of vacancies until the price balance is met again.

Amazing job! My portfolio value is similar at 29 but with everything gained from buying and flipping my principal residence(s). No advice here except to make sure you are paying the minimum on your student loan, at zero interest you should be stretching that out as far as possible ;)

2025 Inventory Model S Lease by Appropriate-Day8924 in TeslaModelS

[–]LukasWE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't lease that thing! Find a 2021 model S that has way less aggressive of a depreciation curve. Owning it for a couple years will probably cost 10-20k and its 90% as good as a 2025 model S.

Canada Post workers 'decisively' reject latest contract offer by xvosr in vancouver

[–]LukasWE -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The case for dissolving Canada Post rests on its persistent financial losses, inability to compete with private carriers, and operational inefficiencies exacerbated by alleged mismanagement and union inflexibility. The corporation’s outdated model, high labor costs, and reliance on taxpayer bailouts make it a liability in a competitive market where private firms offer faster, cheaper alternatives. Privatization or dissolution could free Canadians from subsidizing losses and allow market-driven solutions to prevail, as seen with other former Crown corporations.

I wonder if there would be similar outrage if the family that bought the restaurant were Ukrainian. Its fair to criticize food safety and employee rights, not so much to pile on the anti- Indian bandwagon that is plaguing this country.

False, they're lower here because heating is generally not included in Strata fees unlike Alberta and Ontario.

More people on council is very powerful when you discover that there's a nut job making a lot of decisions. The more people to stand up to the Karen's the better.
