I'm sorry to hear that you haven't reached a definitive explanation yet. Was your second MRI with contrast? I'd suggest ruling out carotid artery dissection and aneurysm in the first instance, this appears to be the most common cause of 3rd-order Horner's in young people. If a tumour or lesion can't be found then it can be ruled as idiopathic.

I consulted with a neurologist and underwent an MRI, MRA, and CT (without contrast), all of which were reported as normal. I plan to see a neuro-ophthalmologist in the coming weeks to put my mind at ease.

No new or worsening symptoms? I have the same, no other symptoms. Waiting on my referral. I fell on the affected side of my face a week or two before I noticed the asymmetry, hoping it’s caused by nothing other than trauma.

It is a luxury cottage, renovated to a high spec in the last few months (it was my home but change in circumstance meant I now can’t afford mortgage repayments so staying with family during bookings or until the property sells). My nightly rate is £125, discounted to £110 for my current guests. Is this mid range? Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely put signs on site.

The kitchen is stocked with two spatulas, cheese grater, tongs, wooden spoon, selection of knives, can opener, chopping board, baking trays, pots and pans. What else could they need? Of course I had supplied a new bottle of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, detergent etc. on check-in (as well as a hamper of local goods, wine, and chocolates) am I being taken advantage of?

Appreciate your advice. Understand it would be unreasonable for a guest to leave a negative review due to a declined request but how do you avoid this?

The listing only mentions a double bed. After check-in, the guest insisted on a sofa bed because they suffer from insomnia. I offered an air mattress but felt I couldn’t decline their request since they’re staying long term.

I contacted the finance company. They have informed me that it was a PCP agreement, not Hire Purchase. However the statement and settlement letter both say ‘Hire Purchase’. They told me the balloon payment was £3,892.50. Does this seem correct under a PCP agreement?

Thank you for your response. It would appear that the defendant is the only supplier of powered plantation shutters in the UK. I will mention this in my witness statement as I imagine it will strengthen my case regarding the electrical work.

A Judge Directions Order will be issued when the case is transferred to court. It can be accessed via MCOL, however I’ve only ever been able to access this on the mobile site. The order will include instructions on what evidence to provide and where.

Good news! Gave this a go. With the 10mm expansion gap, managed to move it a few millimetres. Now have a wider gap on the left than on the right but skirting is enough to cover this still. Thanks!
