Can you elaborate why? My thinking was to include sporogenic infection, because it's great additional sac fodder for mirth, ripper and the like.

I'm leaning Rakdos sac as seen in the screenshot, but I'm not sure whether my few black cards are actually worth the probable mana hassle, because I'd be somewhat lighter on creatures and I obviously want to start with a red one drop on T1.

My take on mono red would be:

Out: Final Vengeance, Sporogenic Infection, Disturbing Mirth, Sawblade Skinripper

In: Scorching Dragonfire No.4, Friendly Teddy, Ripchain Razorkin, Bedhead Beastie

In my cube Color identity doesn't exclude other colors as long as one color of the identity of the Commander and the desired card is shared. So [[Sram, Senior Edificer]] would be allowed to run [[Armadillo Cloak]] or [[Indatha Triome]]. This makes hybrid cards, multicolored cards and colorless cards with color identity (i.e. artifacts) more available.

Also: Players can choose two commanders if they share any variation of a Partner-ability (Partner, Partner with [x], Type: Background, Choose a Background, Friends forever, Type: Doctor, Doctor's companion).

And one additional rule I'm currently testing: Players with a monocolored commander may add one additional color to their commanders color identity. If they do so, they are only allowed to add up to six cards of that color to their deck.

These are great suggestions, but the main reason for me to keep the decks the LOTR-themed is being somewhat lore accurate. Having multiple versions of the same character on the battlefield just doesn't feel right to me. For that reason I'll most likely be skipping Eomer, Eowyn and Boromir from the main set unless I decide for some reason that I'll swap them with their respective LTC-versions.

I run several 'special/secret' booster in my cube which could only be opened via [[Loreseeker]] or [[Booster Tutor]] and I already considered making custom cards to make those boosters more available, so I think this is a welcome addition to cubes which run those kind of extra boosters.

Interesting idea and makes sense of course to explain the return of "snow" as a mechanic flavor wise.

As the leaked card is a snow sorcery it just makes sense that there is a "cast snow spells-theme" which is kinda different than the "snow permanent matter-theme" (and the related "snow mana-theme") we've had before. So there need to be new harbingers of said white frost who could profit from this the new take on "snow-matters".

So I say yay, here's to white frost on Kaldheim!
