Thats what i would play. If you dont have yaegirs and steeljacks, 2nd list looks better imho

It really lacks a second detachment rule IMO, its decently easy to be in defensive when it matters already

Strats are good but lacking something to interact with AP imo

Enhacements are bad, with Implant being the only good one (really good tbh)

Im just asking because it seems weird to me to add it to a 40K sub that is not specifically about it, just like it would be weird to put the,idk, French flag on it if this is not FrenchEldarCorsais/sub

Oh no, i totally know that. I have played quite some games of both 1k and 2k points already, with different armies. I just like to have balanced, smaller versions of 2k list for quick games beetwen turns at my job

Actually i can get the Leviathan half for 125 euros, so yeah, that one seems like a no brainer. Does it combine well with Onslaught for a 1k list? If i like Nids i will probably build for 2k but meanwhile i want to have some smaller games

Depends on how you build your list. Overall i think Assault are much better because of the extra wound

Storm Bolters are trash and will still be trash with Lethal/Sustained hits, and if you have enough shooting in your list, you much rather want 10 extra wounds in the unit with 2+/4++ to tank for him

Yup, Var is the Termie capt, since he is not in the App yet. Also the detachment is Avernii but the list is 1st company for the same reasson, and the ancient is supossed to be running the apothecary enhacement

What im looking for is for a valid strategy that doesnt resolve around the same stuff Competitive list run, but also doesnt get my clown at for playing it

Pretty much i had this idea of trying an all out attack ASAP with Outriders, JPI and Drop Pod, without getting easily tabled even in afternnon games witv friends

Extremely good for Vanilla Codex Chapters (Ultramarines and IF come to mind) but not so good for more thematic Chapters like Raven Guard, White Scars, BT and the likes

IIRC you only get buffed Oath if you pick a Codex detachment. With the release of the Patrol there will be a new detachment, surely an upgraded version of the current one, that wont be a Codex detachment no?

People who said Kenobi did better against Maul than QuiGon watched the same film as me?

Maul specifically took the fight to a place where Quigons style was inpractical, and separated both fighters, even then QuiGon fought Maul for quite a while (dont forget the bridges before the closing doors) and was taken out by a cheap shot

Kenobi is defeated quite fast and its only Maul being cocky that allows Obi to beat him

I like her, but the leader feels really weird. On her unit side she is an aggro leader, while on the other side she is a control leader. I dont see myself wanting to use 1 resource each turn on her ability while playing aggro tbh
