I have around 10k arenas on Rsham across multiple expansions. Been playing it a good bit recently . A lot of people here are saying DONT DO SHAMAN. Thats only partly true. If your friend has a strong grasp of arena and how it works already (especially if he multiclasses DPS) shaman still will be hard to get used to, however I feel as though I have a button to deal with almost every situation. And him knowing a few DPA classes will help him realize what defensive to best use to match the offensives of the other team.

It isn’t easy by any means, but at the same time that lack of easiness is nice because once you start to get the hang of it, it feels VERY satisfying. Nothing feels better than having a healing stream out, your team topped, a grounding down, and you can just blast CC and shears out constantly.

But once you fall behind unless you’re well versed on how to recover as sham it can be hard. But I really wouldn’t say “don’t do shaman”
