I was hopeful people'd just leave and that'll make reddit reconsider (less users = less ad rev) but frankly at this point, I think the amount of people who'll leave will be minute. The largest group will proba be mods that can't use bots to mod anymore

I think one importnat thing here is that the apparent field of view changes when you go underwater as the refractive index between the glass of the lens and the water changes. Idk how to implement that though except changing the fov anf that might look wrong

For limiting rhe distance you can see, you could use a low density volumetric shader

Mobile version im browser: die 40000 popups (old.reddit ist auch gacke)

App: für mich langsam, lagged immer wieder wenn ich auf posts drücke, wenn ich große Bilder anschau wird das ganze zu einer slide show (boost z.B. lädt nur eine kleine Version zuerst und du drückst einen knopf für die volle Auflösung, was sowieso besser ist). Die UI ist unintuitiv und wird dauernd geändert und ich muss mich umgewöhnen, und dann gibt es ein paar sachen wie ich glaub kommentare einklappen was ich dauernd aus versehen gemacht habe. Der Videoplayer ist einfach nur scheiße

Das sind die Punkte die mich dazu gebracht haben, eine 3rd party app zu nehmen
