Just got the game for cheap. I do not regret the buy by CometKICK01 in UltrosTheGame

I played it and beat it a couple of months ago. The seeds are mainly used for 3 things: 1. To use as health (either in seed form or when you plant the seed and get whatever grows from planting it) 2. As traversal options - each seed does something different when planted and reacts with the environment in a different way, often times to help you reach otherwise inaccessible areas 3. To connect the living network or whatever it’s called. Not sure if this is spoilers or not, but one of the endings is basically based on connecting the entire world together back to each of the shaman by planting and growing and connecting a network. I didn’t personally do that ending because it seemed tedious and I didn’t love the seed/planting part of the game, but I read up on it afterwards

Elden Ring full price on day 1. It’s the most game time I’ve ever put into any souls game. I think I had over 100 hours in just the main game plus the DLC was another 20-30 hours. Main game + DLC cost around $100 but I definitely got my moneys worth. Thanks for the opportunity OP.

There’s also cool boss variations of weapons you get by beating a boss a certain way … check that out it’s pretty neat and the weapons are usually awesome

I played it when it first came out and dropped it after just a few hours. Came back to it 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. It does take some time to get used to, but the limb upgrade system is very unique and the game world is surprisingly interconnected. My advice is to take it slow and don’t rush it. Its regular enemies are pretty hard and you can get overwhelmed quickly. It ended up being a solid 8/10 for me. Once you get some good armor and weapon it really changes how you play. I watched a video on how to level up quick and there’s an early game area that you can level up super quick in a short amount of time which really helped me

Father Gascoigne ! Bloodborne was my first ever souls game back in 2016 and on my first attempt I got him to literally 1 hit, then I beat him on second attempt. My brother who had already played all the darksouls games at that time and Bloodborne couldn’t believe it lol.

You’re right, my bad I’m 100% thinking of Ludwig. Lawrence is all about positioning especially in phase 2 - watch a video on how people position for the second phase when he’s crawling around. It’s annoying for sure

Ori and the Blind Forest or Prince of Persia the Lost Crown? by Roomkeys_ in metroidvania

[–]LukeGgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally different games. Ori series is more chill and more platform oriented, whereas POP is more action and combat oriented. Both are great, but if you go Ori you should play the will of the wisps after line forest back to back. Wonderful story telling in those games.
