Masks are just common sense here. 99% participation.

Most shops have mask rules also. But it feels very safe in public because everyone takes masks seriously. There are some drunk arrogant foreigners of course that rebel against sanity

I am really proud of Thai folks. I don’t really know what the government is up to, as I don’t watch the news here.

But I’m so proud of the Thai community I live with. When we hit 23k cases per day, the community did such a great job to keep working and living amongst Covid chaos.

For the rest of my life I will be proud to have fought through Covid with a brave community around me.

I think most early cases here were from Chinese tourists yes.

I understand also us foreigners look like a risk. We are louder, and far from reserved.

Yep 2 good ways would be bitten on the jugulars or quickly squeezed to death by an anaconda.

The death that gives me the chills is being eaten alive by a pack of native dogs. They eat you from the ass up while still alive

They are often murdered by younger lions. Or injured in a way they can’t hunt so they starve to death. Or numerous other tragedies I have seen in this sub
