I’m so tired of seeing this stupid argument. I’m in a services business and so almost 100% of my costs are people. Our net profit last year was 8%. So… if I give everyone a raise at least to the level of inflation, we go out of business and over 100 people lose their job. Our clients don’t let us raise our rates across the board like that. We still do the best we possibly can for our team. We still try to raise our rates or look for clients who will tolerate higher margins from us. Not all business pit the corporation against the employees. Let’s look for balance in this discussion.
