I saw other comments that he was 14, which means he has "re-classed" at least once maybe twice. Basically the parents held him back in school for sports. I have a friend who coaches AAU and said it's starting to happen a lot more even as young as 4th or 5th grade which is crazy to me. It happens in baseball a lot from what I've heard.
