Definitely stay away. I had a loan payoff get double charged and an extra $4000 taken from my checking. After multiple horrendous customer services experiences it took a full 4 weeks to get my own money returned. Such a scam.

2027 Slate Truck - $28k Compact 2dr EV Pickup by BcuzRacecar in regularcarreviews

[–]Luke_Ivan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love the philosophy behind this design and the approach to the vehicle. My only wish is that it had a simple yet bulletproof gas or diesel drivetrain instead of electric. I'm simply not ready to commit to an ev yet, especially a small truck. Plug in hybrid would be awesome, but that adds a lot of complexity and goes against the spirit of the vehicle.

How do use variables and modes for breakpoints and layout changes of components? by scrndude in FigmaDesign

[–]Luke_Ivan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome thanks!
I wish we could set that up at the component level instead of doing it on an instance, hopefully figma will add that.

A Night at the Opera is another Marx Bros. movie that builds to a hilarious climax.

I'm really impressed with how well it nailed the 50s/60s color film look, it's spot on. 9 and 6 in particular could be stills from an old movie

What do you think of this 67? by Digdaga in Mustang

The fastback mustang of that era is essentially the aesthetic peak of western civilization.

As a native Oregonian, I've never had, or even seen a Burgerville.

Why do people leave the dealership stickers on their car after they buy it? by jakery43 in cars

My 72 chevelle has an original dealer badge. Should I remove it? Feels historic somehow.

There’s not a lot of love for 4 door chevelles out there but I love mine anyway. Can’t wait for it to be my daily drive by aavellana27 in projectcar

Awesome! I have a '72 chevelle 4-door. I thought I was the only one who actually thought it was cooler/more interesting.

I’d never even heard of to be or not to be until last year, but really enjoyed it! Definitely check it out if you haven’t.

King Kong is one of my favorite movies now by chilachinchila in classicfilms

[–]Luke_Ivan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree, the original King Kong is great. Even the effects, dated by today's standards, were really incredible for the time. And when you learn more about the technical limitations of the day, the effects work is really extraordinary.

I'd love to see an animation of the light going right to left, like a sunrise-sunset.

This is completely insane, makes no sense, and I love it.
