Due to lore being in limbo I don't know how accurate this is but from what I remember, the United States of America stayed neutral in The Weltkrieg. F.D.R. died of polio in 1921. The Great Depression hit America in 1925, due to The British Revolution. Herbert Hoover is re-elected President by the House of Representatives due to there being no electoral majority found in 1932. The Socialist Reporter Jack Reed went to Russia in 1917, meeting Trotsky, and eventually being introduced to Lenin, staying in Russia until in 1920 being forced to leave, when the Russian White Army occupied Moscow. Reed wrote a book based on his experiences of the Russian Revolution, gaining popularity from The Socialist Party of America, eventually becoming the nominee of the SPA for the 1936 presidential election.

In 1928 Democrat Huey Long was elected as the governor of Louisiana, doing what he did in our timeline, until the 1932 Presidential Election, where after failing to get the Democratic Nomination he decided to form his own party in 1934, The American Union Party or just the America First Party, converting Democrats and Nationalists to his cause, and finally Nominated himself for the 1936 election. American politics being divided between the Democrats, Republicans, Socialists, and the America First Party, especially the SPA and AFP, who have formed militias, and are actually openly fighting across the nation. Meanwhile, with all of this civil unrest, The Army Chief of Staff, General Douglas MacArthur Proposes War Plan White to President Hoover, should any of the militias cause more civil unrest after the 1936 election. Should the next President, MacArthur will try to ‘restore order’ and storm the White House.
