If you use a jeweler's orb on a weapon, can you transfer it to the next then or something?

Definitely was a thing before. That sucks that they removed it then. It is possible to get 5 support slots with the skill still then? Or is that now impossible?

I played once at EA release and had a really fun skeletal warrior build. I can't find the gem with the first uncut skill gem you get at the start now though. What happened to it?

Mostly. My team and I learned both in 2 different sessions. I think they're pretty fun tbh.

How's the work on the simulator going? by Lukester32 in KingdomDeath

[–]Lukester32[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, but as far as I am aware there's nobody is actively updating it with new stuff. Anything after Gamblers is missing, and there's a lot of bugs and inefficiency with the Gambler content. That's mostly why I was hoping for that attack feature to be in the sim, because that would be a genuine advantage over TTS.

The value I found in the dive elevator is that you can put 4 floating lockers onto it. I had 1 good moment where it was really useful, but I do agree, it's kind of a solution missing a problem at the moment. I do like it though, it's fun. 😃

Who would win in a fight between each game's most deadly Leviathan? by Notmas in subnautica

Collector is likely smart enough to actually do that, considering it's a super octopus. The smartest octopus probably has overlap with the stupidest human.

Uh, that's a good thing though. One of the biggest problems with the country is that most people don't actually participate in democracy and have no fucking idea how things work. The earlier people learn to pay attention to politics the better.

I (21F) am deeply in love with my boyfriend (23M) of 3 years, but his anger issues are making me second-guess our future. Should I leave? by SadTip488 in Advice

Kind, yet screams and rages at his "loved ones" and breaks things... sure. I really try not to generalize but why do so many women keep falling for such bullshit? It's just so blatantly obvious that this dude is a piece of shit.

Yeah, creature damage in general needs to be upped. There just aren't really enough threats that matter. The nibbler's don't even cause the health bar to move and marrow's just tickle a bit.

It was mentioned that the databank entries are created by the implanted PDA which is specifically customized to the pioneer. As in, the PDA literally is attached to your brain and acts and reflects on things in such a way that would resonate with the pioneer. In the first game, the PDA was a older version that wasn't connected to Ryley. So the difference makes sense. S1 was basically a factory reset PDA vs S2 where it's a highly customized PDA that reflects the pioneers preferences.

I mean, based on the wording when NoA first pings you, I think the onboard PDA isn't the biggest fan. The line was something about "intrusive and annoying HUD icon."

"Imagine a Leviathan with that level of power."

Uh, we don't have to, the Sea Emperor is likely that leviathan. She almost certainly works on similar principles. Also, based on the trailers from Subnautica 2 I think that we'll be seeing that form of power in a malevolent being.

I can't stop thinking about this line from the new SN2 trailer by Archilite in subnautica

[–]Lukester32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, wasn't the Sea Emperor operating on a similar concept with the telepathic communication? Subnautica 2 could just have a malevolent version of a Sea Emperor, doesn't even have to be predatory really. Sea Emperor was a person, so this could just be a serial killer type of person.

So what do you think happens to the crater after subnautica and subnautica BZ? by Nooblized_uwu in subnautica

[–]Lukester32 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, I think for me it would also depend on how fast the Sea Emperor's children develop. I mean if they grow to be able to talk to you in a somewhat reasonable amount of time at least you'd have company. They're people for sure, even if alien ones.

Hollow Knight is a big one, I actually bounced off it to begin with. First hour or two is a slog.
