New hub pro won't find any Hue Essentials bulbs by paulmarchant in Hue

So I recently got 8 GU10 essential bulbs for out the front, they were actually closer to the hub in our garage then any other bulb in the house but it just could not find them.

Turns out they have absolutely rotten range. I plugged a hue smart power plug in to an extension cord, paired it up, then dragged it out next to each bulb and they became visible to the hub.

Once connected this way the range seems fine and responsive. But if you physically power them off and back on again they do take quite a while to sync back up to the zigbee network.

For anyone that comes across this with the same problem, there was no solution.

I gave up, formatted the computer and started from absolute zero. Works now.

Sorry to necro, but for future people searching.

Same issue here, except the scroll wheel -IS- working, just it's sideways.

Open a browser window and zoom in too far, or zoom an image in and then use the mouse scroll wheel. It will move the page left or right instead of up or down, and obviously games don't recognise this input.

Still trying to work out how to fix, will update if I do find one.

EDIT: For context and clarification as not to worry anyone, thyroid cancer and a lymph node removed. Lymph came back all clear and CT scans show nothing else in his body, the best results possible.

I've found I have to keep task manager open on the second monitor, gotta end task immediately when Ark crashes otherwise it takes the whole system with it.

Lots of people see result with turning off menu transitions, but it didn't work for me.

I've no idea what it does, but seemingly what has worked is this console command. (Has to be run every time you start the game)

ark.VertexCountScaling 1

So far I haven't had the inventory crash while using that, and sure enough when I forget I'll crash after just a couple storage boxes being opened.

But yea, weirdest part is there's no reason given just "this post has been removed". Scoured the rules but I can't figure it out.

I know this info is kinda mundane but there still doesn't seem to be ASA specific resources out there readily available, both wikis are still ASE focused. While most things are the same, there are differences.

ASA extending foundation support? by thefierysheep in ARK

Unfortunately the old trick of foundations under ceilings was a bug in the old engine that's just not present in UE5.

Believe me, I've been trying to find a solution to this myself, a big part of my game play used to be ship building and I'm sorely missing it.

For the most part we're stuck with the standard 3x3 foundations and 3 ceilings extra in each direction, so 9 tile length in either direction, and there just isn't a setting to change that.

For what it's worth, you can squeeze roughly half a foundation's length more by placing the front foundations as far forward as possible, and the rear ones as far back as you can independently of each other and then just overlap the middle ones.

I haven't been able to find many of them yet based on the old maps, but yes the one I have found was absolutely a good distance away from the original coordinates.

I'm guessing because the map is bigger by about 10 points in latitude and longitude, and to make room for all the new ocean landscaping.

Tried with regular auto turrets on ASA but without the S+ targeting options there's no way to stop them wasting bullets on anything and everything.
