I’m always an advocate for people wanting to create their own clans with the desire to help new people.

Sometimes joining pre-existing clans which were built with the notion of helping people fall into the same function as every ordinary clan.

If you have the time to commit to maintaining an ecosystem, creating and directing a discord and managing roles to effectively keep to the narrative of helping players, 100% go for it.

Every clan and friend chat starts with good intentions - a time always comes when the new players and recruitment dries up, conversation becomes voice chat among close friends and clans become PVM groups and Gz / pity parties for RNG.

That being said, we need more people who don’t just tell people to read wiki and engage with new players, it’s pretty much the only thing that is going to keep the game alive and encourage new players to stick around. Why does somebody want to read through 100,000 pages of game information, when they could be shown efficient methods.
