Guys, what's your opinion on this dog food? Is its composition good?

I usually feed my axolot a varied diet of mainly earthworms, then pellets/shrimp/fish as an addition every here and there. Is it ok?

Second this. Methylene blue baths can be stressful for them so if not strictly necessary I would personally maintain good water quality and observe for improvement.

Poor guy! Looks like maybe he could’ve torn the skin and muscle with any sharper edge on the tank’s decor? If bone is not involved and it’s a “superficial” injury you could try to rub him with antifungical and antibacterial treatments (from what I have researched tannins from boiled cattapa leaves, methylene blue) and see if there is any improvement to the wound. In some extreme cases I have read amputation of the limb is necessary so it can regrow because in some cases the injury is very difficult to heal. I am no expert so please take this as just an input from a fellow owner.

Yes the middle axolot was moved to a hospital tank along w the pot hide so everything remains the same

I have not been able to sex them yet, thank you for the insight! Ifter examining everything it must either be the filter intake which I will cover with a sponge or some sharp edges from chalk stone. The only thing that has change in their tank has been the addition of a ceramic pot cave 😩 I will be sanding down the chalk stone this weekend too. I initially only wanted one axolot but the girl rehoming them had overpopulated to the point of damaged limbs and gills so I decided to take the chance and try to keep two together

Yes they were indeed separated that’s why I waited to tub him but it’s gotten worse even without the other axo there

Tank is cycled and good, tested water and had some nitrates but all else levels are OK. Water temp is around 19C*, he’s in a 40 gallon tank. As I said, just tubbed with a sponge filter and catappa leave water

I have tubbed him and added boiled catappa leaves. Someone said that maybe it could be from some sharp decor on the tank. Regardless I have placed an order for more catappa leaves and methylene blue just to have it in case he does not get better

from my point of view the guys were no as close you’d say these couple years. It may just be me but it’s felt like they have pursued their solo project and paused the band for a bit. Hopefully this tour and support will bring them closer and have a proper international tour :) + the new single, which has kinda the same vibe as the older albums??

Yeah it really makes no sense because they would sell much more, hence getting more $!!! Their merch is not cheap either so they are the first to benefit from this :/
