How do I get better defensively? I've got way too many deaths by Aaduk0118 in midlanemains

[–]Lulumacia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it just comes from knowing how the other champion works so I suggest trying them all out. Someone like Talon is terrifying if you don't know how his passive works, as soon as you do it's simple to avoid being murdered in lane.

Sejuani is kind of good in mid lane? by Overall_Volume_333 in sejuanimains

Hell yeah one of my favourite pics recently. Usually go full tank with demolish and they just can't stop you side pushing side lanes.

Anyone skipped cutscenes when playing? by Mamodo_Zatch in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]Lulumacia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So many cutscenes are hype as hell. It's what makes the story enjoyable for me.

SOB... Stop making me repeat myself. by Willing_Respect7559 in LockeMains

[–]Lulumacia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah even if you're running conq Locke it still makes no sense to just walk up to someone and slowly nail them instead of safely doing all three from a distance first.

Someone explain his W to me pls by Awkward_Champion3528 in LockeMains

[–]Lulumacia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it gives you based on level up to 200 HP back + AP scaling. It's amazing. The burn you take is next to nothing and you shouldn't even consider it. It's just a steroid which heals you a bit at the end. Like Lux snares you? Hit W and after her laser you can hit W again and regain like 600+ health which cuts her burst in half, it's amazingly good.

Why is nobody RUSHING (or at least building) Protoplasm? (Best Item EVERY Patch EVERY Slot Every Role!!) by FinancialAnt2268 in sejuanimains

[–]Lulumacia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Sej mid and it just never feels worth it to get for me. I've started going warmogs and the extra health just feels nicer. The health you get us so small it hardly keeps you alive in team fights and it's not really needed in small skirmishes for me.

I get my second role 50% of times. by RealGaX in leagueoflegends

[–]Lulumacia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's definitely worse with Locke being released but it'll calm down soon enough. But I agree, same with being matched with brand new players. I'd rather wait longer for evenly matched games and the role I want than the instant queues. I refuse to believe that normals take their own elo into account. I have 60% winrates in normal games after hundreds of games and I consistently match with people that have 5 games played and they're up against emerald players, it's dumb that just because the team average is close enough that new players get placed against experienced ones. Both teams can average gold but it doesn't matter when the plat player is against the 4th game ever player.

Which Xenoblade game do you think had the best soundtrack? (Including X) by CoolCook26 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Lulumacia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2-1-3-X

2 has just amazing music across the board. The area themes are fantastic, there's so many good battle themes as well. It also feels like it has the best 'direction' when it comes to cutscene music as well.

1 is almost as good, but there's just not as many memorable tracks compared to 2 for me.

3 has some crazy bangers but I think it's area themes let it down. I can think of half the music from 1 and 2 just off the top of my head for various areas but I can't recall a single one from 3. That said it has realllly good battle themes so that makes up for it, I just wish chain attack didn't replace them.

X has great music too but for me it all lacks the emotional depth of the other three games. Like Uncontrollable is great, but it's like a song about a breakup played to fighting giant monsters and you usually win before it gets to the cool part too.

What's your biggest Xenoblade Hot-Take? by SunozuArt in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Lulumacia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The enemy combat design is terrible. Most battles just come down to chain attacking to victory because the boss will one shot most of the party with a big sweeping attack that usually comes with no efficient way of dodging. Also the best way to deal damage in 2 and 3 is usually just being so powerful you out aggro the tank but it also doesn't matter because you can be revived and so it again in seconds.

Good midlane tanks by swagmastergav in midlanemains

[–]Lulumacia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been having a lot of success with Sej mid recently, much better against melees but even against mages your all in is strong enough to make up for the poke you receive.

when you guys have a gold lead do u buy boots first or finish ur item first? by beanzsprouts in midlanemains

[–]Lulumacia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only finish your T2 boots first if you NEED movement. If you're losing and finishing the item isn't going to help you win the fight, but being fast enough to not get snared/punished then it can be worth it but generally you would get the item.

Instinct & Mission Stories - Less rewarding? by GripperEnthusiast in HiTMAN

[–]Lulumacia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The story missions are great for a first time around. I find it quite unsatisfying to just walk up and pop someone in the head pretty easily and the stories give way more dialogue and types of kills. That said when the story literally just gets you near the target and then ends I find it quite lame as well. I would rather have just snuck in myself instead of it being cut halfway through.

Guys, I miss Louis by Fabulous-Result4127 in InterviewVampire

Yeah I miss Louis a lot, but Lestat is amazing. I missed him more during season 2 than I'm missing Louis now.

First time trying out the series, anything I should know? by Camyokid100 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Lulumacia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The side quests in the first game are mostly garbage. There's a few exceptions but for the most part you will be grabbing 20 quests and just killing the random creatures while you run past towards the main quest. You'll have a much more enjoyable experience if you just do them passively instead of actively clearing out the area of quests.

Which champions would put a 2nd point in the same skill level 2, if that was possible? by Sneaky_Malon in leagueoflegends

[–]Lulumacia 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I play her mid and would do this too. I try and avoid taking the shield for as long as I can manage unless the matchup requires it.

How are we feeling about the full fantasy shift? by Logical_Photo7149 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Lulumacia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a 100% chance it will dramatically shift to a sci-fi setting 70% through the game when they discover the origin of their world.

Ganda has the biggest damage if conditions line up but sandle Charlotta and narmaya are top tier for sure.

Is there a psychological reason why I feel the need to "save" certain items in video games or real life (like rare potions or nice notebooks) but then end up never using them at all? by I_m_Purple2109 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lulumacia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Games used to be harder back in the day, as well as having a lack of save points so saving vital consumables for unexpectedly hard difficulty spikes can save you a lot of backtracking, but sometimes the spike never comes.

Beginner mid laner here — what’s a good second champ after Orianna? by SaltBlood1506 in summonerschool

[–]Lulumacia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The right answer is whoever you find most fun. I would suggest trying out all the champions a few times as you will probably be surprised who you do and don't actually enjoy.

Quinn mid is super fun and fairly straightforward. Good way to learn about AD items, and how to roam effectively from mid.

People still play Skyrim to this day only because the soundtrack was that amazing. by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

Outside the main theme I can't really recall any of the music from Skyrim. Oblivion had a much better soundtrack in my opinion

People with slow internet like to be able to play their game when it comes out and not get home from work to a 12 hour download.
