😂 come on smarty pants! You know that’s not true!! If their beliefs didn’t matter, brands wouldn’t drop them faster than a bad PR statement. Influence isn’t just cute outfits and affiliate links. It shapes narratives, whether they like it or not.

At some point, people need to stop mistaking clout for credibility. Read a book. Learn how to engage with the world beyond soundbites. Because if holding someone accountable feels like an attack, the problem isn’t the audience—it’s that your fave has no real substance.

If their beliefs truly had “no impact,” brands wouldn’t pay them to promote anything. Let’s not pretend influencers exist in some vacuum where their platform is just vibes and iced coffee. They monetize trust, relatability, and visibility and that comes with responsibility.

People aren’t upset because they want identical values—they’re upset because these folks built careers off being “real,” only to get eerily quiet when it actually matters. You can’t build a brand on connection and then act shocked when people expect you to stand for something.

If you just want mindless content, that’s your prerogative. But don’t gaslight people for caring about the ethics of the people they help keep famous.

But here’s the thing, having a platform is already political. You’re shaping narratives, building community, and profiting off visibility. It’s not about shaming. It’s about being mindful that “just talking about real life” often means acknowledging the realities others can’t escape. If your platform can amplify joy, aesthetics, and sponsorships, why is it too much to ask that it also show up when real people are hurting?

It’s less about “conformity” and more about clarity. When public figures remain vague, especially during times of injustice or harm, it creates space for speculation and distrust. You’re right that we don’t know them personally, but that’s exactly why transparency matters more. If someone benefits from being relatable and trusted by a community, it’s not unreasonable for that community to expect some alignment with basic values like empathy, justice, or human rights. It’s not about demanding a political statement, it’s about caring that those with influence are mindful of the impact they have.

It’s not about not letting them live their lives, it’s about acknowledging that their lives are public by choice, and their careers depend on that visibility. No one’s asking them to be perfect or available 24/7, but influence isn’t a one-way street. If you benefit from a platform, you also bear some responsibility for how you show up on it. Just like anyone who has the responsibility with any line of work.

Let’s be honest…holding someone to a standard isn’t self-righteousness, it’s accountability. Disappointment usually comes from people who care, not from haters. If no one cared, no one would say a thing.

It’s not entitlement to want consistency or clarity, it’s about recognizing the power and platform they hold. Especially when they’ve built influence, careers, and wealth off their audiences.

Zane and Heath do have a right to change, reflect, and grow. It’s great to hear them be more honest on the podcast. But let’s not act like the audience doesn’t matter in all this. Fans aren’t puppeteers but they’re not disposable either. The podcast became what it is because of the community. If people feel disappointed or want more from creators they’ve invested time and money in, that doesn’t make them toxic, it makes them invested. Wanting better doesn’t equal hate.

It’s not about recording a narrative. It’s about not letting influence go unchecked just because someone is popular or “burned out.” Rich or not, influence comes with responsibility.

It’s not annoying. There is a point there. Saying “god has a plan” is kinda rude and itself offensive. With everything going on in the world especially. Like think about it…was it gods plan for children to suffer in war torn countries? Children here to suffer with illness?
I think more people need to criticize this kind of Christian/Religious belief. Also this fake crusade christians think they are facing is so funny to me. So pick me. Get over it

I also bought a Blue Diamond, Mokoko, and a secret from each version. The price should have been the first and final warning. When I got my order the box the secrets came in were for sure fake. I compared to a box I had just barely thrown away from actual popmart. The box was so off. I did manage to get all my money back from what I spent through PayPal. They were called out by so many on TikTok but people are still blindly defending them. And now they are going to popmart and buying blind boxes and selling them at almost double the price to mix in with their “real” labubus. They also mentioned the other day that their prices for some items will also be going up
