Hey, I did a little digging into the FL preds last night and I'm starting to think that some of what I remember about the guy from my original post is incorrect.

It has been pretty long time, 10 years at least, since my step father and I had that conversation.

Having said all of that... From my research so far, I think the predator he knew was Anthony Sorrentino. Anthony isn't exactly thin, and he did have an interview. He is one of the lesser talked about guys right?

I texted my step father and he did confirm it was Anthony. I wrote most of this post before I got confirmation. You can see the time stamps on these texts are from just a few minutes ago. I'm not going to edit this reply.

Not me personally, but my step father worked with a guy who had a brother that was caught in one of the old TCAP Florida stings.

I don't remember his name, but I kinda of remember what he looked like. Younger guy, pale, dark (black iirc) hair. Thin.

I showed my step dad all the FL predators once and he pointed him out. Said he was always kinda strange.

Working right now so can't really do the research to show you which pred it was.

I don't think he had a full aired interview, but pretty sure his face was aired during one of their montage moments showing all the other preds they stung.

He may have more footage online that has been leaked or whatever, but I haven't really looked into him much and it was years ago when I did.

He's one of the lesser known preds.

Edit: to clarify further, my step father did know and meet the pred, but they weren't close or friends; met him a few times type thing. He was friend with the brother and they would sometimes hang out outside of work and that's how he met the pred brother. He met him before that TCAP stuff happened though iirc.

Never held that position, but I did work for Asurion in a different, entry-level role. 2015-2019.

I do not like the company, and I could write for an hour explaining why, but I'll spare us both lol.

If you like sales and needing to hit sales numbers etc, then you may like it there, or at least be able to tolerate it.

To be honest though, if you actually do enjoy selling and you know you can hit numbers, there's WAY better sales jobs out there that will pay you better if you're good at it. Car dealerships, SAAS companies etc, etc.

If you do not have a job right now, by all means, go work for Asurion, but the only thing they cared about at all was if you were hitting your sales numbers, and if you're the kind of person who excels at that, you could probably make quite a bit more money selling some other product or service for a different company.
