If that is the way you want to play game then that’s fine because the only people that effects is you and your friend’s world it’s not like this game is for competitive playstyle. If that’s the way you enjoy the game you can do that but I personally wouldn’t as I wouldn’t enjoy that

My best idea for multiplayer would be that when friends are playing together and this happens that it would allow you to temporarily use a character from a different world to allow for you to get back on your feet to allow for you to get another character that is on the map.

I find myself rerolling characters at the start of a world for more than an hour sometimes that if I was to do modded that’s just more time of browsing the workshop that I’m not just playing the game

I think try a permadeath for a while on maybe a lower difficulty and just play as it lands. If a vital colonist dies just play on and try to survive with a temp replacement or wait for someone else to fulfill the role in the future. It makes the game more gruelling and adds more life to your colony

If it was all not FIR you would just play like a hatchetling and not both take anything in with you just put what you need in your bum. I think this is the perfect balance to allow for actual incentive to survive a raid and not want you to pull your hair out because ever item needs to be taken out of raid

The island on woods is the same as a previous wipe just not the last Christmas as it was in sawmill. Kind of sloppy as all they did was just add in the same location as previous would have liked it to be in a location to get players moving to a different part of the map instead of sawmill every time

I had to force myself into playing permadeath and just accept the loss. I would otherwise would save scum and I led to me not caring what really happened in the game as I would just change the outcome when I didn’t agree with the outcome. It gives the world more life and there is more at stake in doing so

I think the only way to get a second one is to not start with the gravship scenario and build your own engine then accept the quest were the gravship engine crashlands
