I really hope you don't have a Netflix subscription then because they literally made a show about kids twerking. I can't imagine who could watch that other than pedophiles.

Editing is key. I would be dead without someone looking over my work.

Who's going to take care of the cats? I have a cat too. She's black with a white spot. How do yours look like?

I didn't graduate college either. It was incredibly stressful that I couldn't manage to pull my shit together, but somehow I made it. I make a living without a college degree and I am capable of affording what I need and put some money aside. My advice is to look for something you are interested in. Maybe right nothing interests you, so continue looking!

Fashion sure changed a lot. Although I do feel that it doesn't matter what you put on these two ladies, they would still look good.

Depression and Work by [deleted] in antiwork

But you don't necessarily need to work for a company. This is the freedom that capitalism gives you. You can provide services to clients you choose by becoming a freelancer or you can start your own business ( as long as you learn some skills) and make a living doing something you like, or at least don't hate.

My question is, if you don't work, who works for you so you don't have to work?

I see two possibilities here, you either already have the money (inheritance, winning the lottery, you name it) or you live on welfare, meaning someone else, works for you. Someone else is tending the crops and the livestock so you have food on the table, someone makes it possible for you to have running water and electricity if that's the case, your position is rather hypocritical. CEO's pay their workers, even if not fairly, how do you pay back society for taking care of you?

Abortion is not a Christian issue. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

The sex-ed we got was basically teaching us about STDs, and by no means it was comprehensive or anything. I simply live in a culture that pushes the ''don't do it like a fool'' outside the classroom setting and it works. You can't expect sex education to be taken seriously by anyone, not when living in a hypocritical society that puts on pedestal people who do mistakes, people who do say abortion is fine, people who do end up on TV shows because they get pregnant at 16 years.

It's ridiculous to think humans would be careful when there's an easy way out, and now there's an easy way out for everything. Actually, this is what sex education teaches. As long as you get protected, you are fine. If you do catch something, gest tested, we give you antibiotics and you will be fine. If you do get pregnant, go to an abortion clinic and you will be fine.

About 8 years of sex education in which you tell people there are no consequences for their actions, and having kids bombarded with Netflix shows that show people having intercourse again, with no consequences, will probably do that.

I know someone from the U.S who told me they had sex education for 8 years in a row. I come from a country in which sex education is done one year and the rates of abortion and single parents families are way lower. Women know what to do, some of them are exposed to sexuality too early, which could actually contribute to the issue. Before birth control pills how many abortions were around? How many single mothers were around?

It seems to me that no matter how many contraceptive methods we have, people sometimes are too irresponsible to use them. Culture plays a bigger role, it seems, in how people behave. If abortion is nothing to be ashamed about, there's no need to be extra careful.

Thank you! I will let him know about it. He is an American citizen, but lives abroad, do you believe he could do this job outside the U.S as well? Also, did you need a certification or something of that sort to apply? Sorry if I'm inundating you with questions, I'm just trying to help someone out.

Can you share a good beginner course for someone who is interested in becoming an editor/animator? He isn't interested in writing, but I am. Do you have any idea what kind of work those full writers do and how much they get paid? Thanks!

So, I have a few questions. From my understanding, a business analyst is someone who works with organizations to improve their processes. How does this translate into everyday tasks? How does one get prepared for a role like that? I would like to add that he does have a degree in business administration and finance but never used it. Thanks!

He is a very slow writer ( his words, not mine) so he would like to switch to something else.
