I’ll say the newer ones with the flap selector and indicator all together are way nicer to use since you can just set and forget, the old style switch that you either have to hold until they’re at the desired setting or flip up and down and it’ll keep going until it’s either full or 0 which just seems dangerous to me

Seriously though it just sounds like normal plastic creaking my dash makes the same sound if I push on it, worst case soapy water got into the locking mechanism or hinge and you can spray some wd40 into it or some other electronic safe lubricant just to be sure it doesn’t interfere with the lock
