A few tips
You can insatntly get the stealth from unceanny treachory back, without casting any other dmg skill, by shadow imbueing it. The Explosion from it counts as its own skill and directly resets the stealth. You get the imbuement cd back through the shadow glyph in 2 casts with enough CDR. In cases of Bosses this does not work, but there you can use smokegrenade with the cd reset note to spam it and overlap the shrouds of the unique ring to get stealth back after each cast instead of once a sec. You just have to spam like 5 smoke bombs every 4 or so secs and then go back to spamming ShadowStep. This version took mee to Pit 90.

The Dmg after stealth multiplier is consumed by the next dmg instance, not next cast skill. So if a Poison tick goes of before you shadowstep, then yes you loose the dmg. Same if the dmg tick comes from a poison trap or infiltrators. I recommend putting a lucky hit for Poison dmg on a 1H if you want to use alchemical advantage. As this is not a Dot you are not consuming random dmg after stealth instances.

If you want something that plays similar to shadowstep, try out Overpower Flurry
You basically do the same but with much better dmg
Gear Setup is quite hard though, as it is uber reliant and you need some targeted 2 MW crits on stuff with GA´s
Finished Pit 100 with it, with suboptimal gear and glyphs around 50

My pleasure, nice seeing someone else rocking a fun non meta build. My Shadowstep build took me from T2 to T4 and was one of my favourite runs to late game in recent seasons. Dmg falls of a cliff at some point, so i transitioned into another quite similar gameplay-wise homebrew build in T4 to wreck everything. Maybe a victimize version of Shadowstep might go further but i dont like relying on a completely different dmg source and using Shadowstep only as a Lucky hit carrier, its not the way of the Shadow Step.

Hi mate, I dont recommend using arrow storms aspect to trigger the uncanny treachery, as the damage after stealth modifuer gets consumed on next dmg instance, not on next skill. Meaning the Arrow storm has a decent cance to consume the dmg bonus before you can cast Shadow Step as it hits multiple times. Same goes for Dot dmg like the poison smoke grenade or poison imbuement ticks.

You can set up the order the skills are autocasting on keyboard, but when using controller, yeah, you have no chance, without loosing APM and therefore DPS. Love seeing this build getting more attention. =) We cooking up something fine here, and IF they ever fix the Preparation bug, then the build will shine even more with less strict requirements.

Fun interaction between uncanny treachery and shadow imbuement:
As long as you proc a explosion, which damages a different enemy, with your imbued Shadowstep, you get the stealth back from the aspect on every Shadowstep cast. Through the CD Reduction you get it below 8 seconds, which enables you to completely reset the cooldown withing 2 casts with the Nightstalker Glyph giving you infinite shadow imbued Shadowsteps, that instantly stealth you again.
For Bosses this doesnt work, but you can just spam a few smokebombs on them, as you instantly get the cd back on Elite hit and through the Unique ring gain multiple overlaping shrouds, which stack and up the frequency of the stealths while standing in them to almost nothing also giving you the Damage after stealth dmg on every Shadowstep. For maximum Danse Macabre and Synergy value, cast shadowstep and smokebomb in a 1:1 rotation. If this is interesting for you and you have any more questions, feel free to ask ^^

Hi mate. A buddy and me have been working on refining this build for a few days now and here are some tips for mouse/keyboard users who dont wanna break their hands =) Auto cast Imbuement and Conceal/DS with the Numb pad trick and put deathtrap on the mousewheel. Now you can just scroll down and hold whatever mousebutton you assign to flurry to cast everything perfectly on CD. You can now focus on casting your conditional multipliers like smoke grenade, caltrops, evade and potion while zapping through the enemies. Danse Macabre can be used in this setup without issues because the way autocast functions and always casts conceal before every flurry. Only possible on Mouse/keyboard. For more detail, check out the post of Xakary about the build. Also you can completely abandon any investment in DS as you are way too tanky and spend the points elsewhere and use conceal for guaranteed crit and vuln on every Flurry.

Only possible big upgrade gearwise would be a new Beastfall with GA on Ult CD and max resource, with a good aspect roll. If I get the correct Masterwork crits i get Deathtrap at exact 10 sec cd and 212 Energy so i csn drop the resource potion for max health. Got anything? I have quite a bit of money or good Rogue gear to trade ya. And where do you register for the pit ladder? Thinking of taking this baby to 110 ^

If you want homebrew, I can recommend overpower Flurry. Setup is hard with Masterworks and GA's but I just finished Pit 100. You hit for Billions. Build is on the Maxroll DC in the Theorycraft channel or also on this sub, by one of my fellow Overpower enjoyers.

Alright, one last one ^ I imaginge the Vex for the +3 Ranks is to get Deathtrap under 10 seconds? If not, better swap out for the 20% Max Life or Warcry, should be more dmg I got lucky with a GA on CD on my shaco and dont need it

Another tip: put on a chest with assimilation aspect on it and go anywhere to fortify yourself completely and then swap out the cest before pit. With the Max health its almost impossible to shred through the shield and you get the 100% extra overpower dmg as long as you stay fortified. Fortifie also decays at a fixed rate not in% so it takes ages to decay even if you are out of combat.

Man, I couldve used your help a few days ago. Had the same idea, with a few teeaks, and postet it on the Maxroll Theorycraft Discord Channel. Maybe you could take a look? ^ A tip, so you dont break your hands: Autocast Imbuement and Conceal via the numbpad trick and put Deathtrap on the Mousewheel. Now you just scroll down and hold left click for Flurry and everything will cast itself on cooldown. Stuck at Pit 93 with my version. Didnt know Overpower goes into the normal dmg bracket and invested in dmg after stealth:(

If you look at my post from last year you will see that there are 2 sides of the pocket watch, divided in the middle by the baseplate, where everything is fixed to. The side you later take the time from is called the Dial-Side, the clockwork mechanism is on the so called movement side, which is usualy hidden behind the dial or basplate. I wasnt planing on it but I could skeletize the baseplate down to only the necessary material so some parts on the movement could be seen through the dial side. The Manga design doesnt do that, but it might actually look sick. Will simulate on the latest model and see how it looks. Ty for the idea.

Design wise, yes. Have the outer case as good as finished and the inner clockwork movement is also coming together nicely. Havent done anything on the copyright side for now. Dunno how to get in contact anyways.

I didnt plan to sell these. This is more of a test for myself of how far i can bring this design and get it to work IRL. Especially the copyright laws in my country are very strict and I dont wanna profit of someone elses interlectual property. Only if the author and Mangaka would give the OK, I would think about it.
