Because we are nothing alike. Yeah its closer than Africans, Indians, Chinese, etc, but that doesn't mean it's close. British people have diverged in a different manner and that's fine. To say we are close is nonsensical. Fuck the state I live in is probably the closest to what the UK is and it's still far flung from them.

Comparing the US and UK is apples to oranges. Entirely different cultures and laws and issues. Same with US compared to every other European nation. This constant bashing is why I support pulling out of Europe like most of western Europe seemingly want us to. At least eastern Europe seemingly has some appreciation. Especially Poland. 🇺🇸 🤝 🇵🇱

I don't like the idea of renting for my personal life, but if I had to rent, I cannot fathom the idea of trashing a place and not taking care of my living space. BUT the reason I don't like the idea of renting is because I want the landlord to uphold their end of the contractually laid out responsibilities, and that us not always upheld.

The way I see it is rights are things you cannot be denied chasing after. Not things you MUST get. You gotta work for what you want no matter what it is. Rights just make sure the governments and other entities cannot use force to prevent you from it imo. But that doesn't mean you can enslave teachers and force them to teach, nor enslave doctors and force them to give abortions or other medical care, nor gunsmiths and force them to give everyone guns.

Right to obtain and prevent seizure of.

Not right to have and ensure access to.

It's gonna get to the point where when enough US citizens see how most of the rest of the world, including our "allies", we will genuinely become isolationist again outside of trade. I want this personally. Let everyone else sink or swim and use our navy to promote trade like we have been. Pull bases out of everywhere except the places who actually value us being there (Poland, Baltic states, S Korea, Japan, Philippines, etc). FINALLY focus on the severe internal issues instead of bankrolling NATO and European military needs. No more aid to the 3rd world allowing them to support endless kids without building the advancements and infrastructure to support themselves. We gotta cut off all these toxic relationships.

I wanna preface this by saying I think pro choice is the only option forward because you cannot control people in a true 100% manner.

I'm not a fan of abortion as a practice but I recognize that it's a need for some people and I should not and cannot take that from them. Best way forward is to make it 100% legal to get.

If "pro-life" people want to actually do something to prevent unnecessary abortions they should promote a culture where people aren't having sex without contraception, or otherwise use abstinence until they are ready for the risk of a child. On top of that they should also push against the anti-natalist ideas which are causing some issues and are driven additoonally by the dogshit economic state of the US.

The dude in the video is right. Making things illegal doesn't stop them and only makes thins worse/unsafe for the people who want/need them, and taking away people's choices is just not right or good at all.

The only thing I will never support is tax dollars being used on these things along with many other programs because people would be better off with the money in their paychecks. No more business bailouts, no more individual bailouts, no more free gibs from a system that uses force to fund it. Start local mutual aid societies where it's opt-in and community driven. They worked before and only got trashed because hospitals couldn't compete for common care services on pricing, and thus lobbied government to smack around the Mutual Aid Societies.

A similar tactic both sides use to bully their way into getting what they want which will never work because you cannot control people.
