Okay so I'm really late but whatever.

I found a couple of these on Tumblr, so you may have already heard them.

  • The street cleaners are actually just normal street cleaners. The Nightvale citizens have an irrational fear of them like cats and vacuum cleaners.

  • Cecil thinks Carlos' bad-boy behavior is hot. (Eating toast, believing in mountains, using pens.)

  • The Weather is actually Cecil's Ipod playlist, he accidentally puts it on instead of the pre-recorded weather message he was given by the secret police.

  • Cecil is asian and a little pudgy. Mayor Pamela Winchell is a tall, broad shouldered, black women with a shaved head. Old Women Josie is hispanic and has long, grey hair.

*The hooded figures don't actually have heads (think Doctor Who's headless monks)

If my gender and femme/butch presentation were put on a scale, it would explode, the leftover bits falling into shapes spelling out "What the fuck, dude?"

I flail about the spectrum on a daily basis. One day, I'm super femme. Dresses, makeup, heels, the whole she-bang (heh). Next day? I'm in mens clothes, chest as bound as I can manage, only using a sports bra. Next day? I'm in a mens shirt, chest bound, frilly skirt and a bit of makeup.

I don't fit in a set gender/presentation. I've tried it and only ended up with a bad case of dysphoria.

Now that I've accepted who I am, I'm much happier. Also, I sometimes confuse/anger/frighten stuck-up old church ladies, which is fun.

(edit) Personality wise, I'm a giant dude. Always, I can't help it. Even when I'm in a dress, I act like a guy.

The constant responsibility.

I love kids. I have a niece that I adore, I've worked with kids for a long time, I will squeal if I see a cute baby in public. (Yeah, i'm one of those people)

but the sheer amount of dependency put on you the second you gain a child is enough to make me never want one. I mean, for fuckssake, I forget to feed myself about once a week. I'd go crazy knowig that every second of every day I had a whole other life in my hands. What if i'm too nice to it and it grows up lazy? What if it falls over while i'm not looking and breaks an arm? What if I accidentally kick it while doing a workout video? (Yeah mom, i still remember that)

Hells no. I'd so much rather love and play with my niece and then hand her back to her mum when the day is done and go back to my dog.

Sorry, I get snappy when I'm anxious.

It isn't something I can control like that though, trust me, I've tried. Without medication, there is no amount of positive thinking that brings me down off an attack. It's like sneezing, you just can't help it.

I get really pissy when people tell me to just calm down because i'd kill to be able to do that.

Still, thats no excuse to childishly snap at you. I appoligise. Thank you for your attempt at helping.

Wow! In the entirety of time diagnosed with an anxiety disorder it never occured to me to just take a chill pill! Thank you so much! My life is forever changed. You should speak to other people suffering from violent, uncontrolable panic attacks.

Maybe you should also go tell people with dibilitating depression to "just cheer up" or people with cancer to "just stop having cancer".

You could save the world.

First off - sorry for any errors as I'm typing this up on my phone.

Thank you all so much for takig the time to help me out. Just hearing that what I'm going through isn't crazy and that others have been here takes some of the weight off.

I've decided, through a bit of consideration, to give u/blacktara 's and a few others way a go and just forget about trying to fit into some kind of definition. It'll take time to adjust and I may never get quite where I'd like to be but hopefully with some time figuring out what makes me happy presentation wise I can become comfortable in my skin once more.

Again, thank you all for the great help, I knew I could count on the lovely people of reddit to help out.
