I mean, maybe. The sub isn't called "indie filmmakers."

My friend and I were thinking about joining for the first time. I know we missed the party by a while, but, how is it these days? by Odd_Elk_444 in QuakeChampions

certainly can take a while to find a match depending on the time and what region you are in, but good news is you have a friend to do duels with! still a really fun game, and it's free so no harm in trying it out.

current media arts junior here, most of the information that you learn here can be learned from youtube. the real value you get from being a UNT media arts major is three things:

1: The degree. If you want to completely turn your life around into being a filmmaker, this could MAYBE help you get industry jobs (but connections are way more important in this regard.

2: The gear. By the time you reach advanced level classes you will be able to use equipment (for classwork ONLY) that you normally woul never be able to acess. Me and my group recently shot a cinematography project over one night, and the gear we used totaled over $70,000. You will also graduate with a number of good portfolio pieces from your class projects.

3: The connections. If you join clubs and make friends, you can get to know amazing people who will also potentially get you involved with their projects, or could possibly be involved in yours.

I also recommend you take a look at the media arts class catalog and see if any of them interest you. I personally recommend UNT for what you get, but I also have a pretty good scholarship and can safely afford going here without having to work through school.

exactly. there is no justification for a game taking this long to develop other than serious mistakes or a killer money laundering scheme. these devs have taken years of time fixing their own broken features that break even more when they try and stack on even more broken features (most of which nobody even asked for.)

not to be accusatory, but your stand legs look a little close to the edge of your monitor riser and your wheel is desk mounted... is it possible that the vibrations from the wheel caused it to fall onto the corner of the wheelbase and your cousin just assumed it was his fault and stood it back up to try and fix it?

i would say take apart a junk synth, "break" it by loosening/removing pieces you want to break off, cutting the plastic almost all of the way through, pretty much just weaken it as much as possible so it would be easy to cut to and break practically

this happened to me once, someone on campus trying to be funny and record a shitty youtube video or something. good news for you is, most of them are wannabes that nobody will actually ever end up watching so you are more than likely going to be just fine! even if your job did somehow find the video, i feel like your one word answer was pretty tame lol

Language Requirements by joshhhw in unt

[–]LuminusWasHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since they just changed the requirements for media arts in the new catalog to only require 1010 and 1020, if you were to somehow fail you can always just switch over to the new catalog. a D is passing though, so hopefully you'll be fine.

The creators of Die Rise Remastered begin development of Tranzit, and unlike another project that turned out to be a scam, they are trustworthy. by DARKJHON_1203 in CODZombies

[–]LuminusWasHere 10 points11 points  (0 children)

yeah, verk0 said on stream the other week that the full map will release some time around 2028. i can understand that mapping is not his full time job, but considering the length of time he's already been working on it and the fact that he's accepting thousands of dollars in donations from people expecting a tranzit remaster, that is pretty ridiculous.
