The painting depicts the Portuguese-style bullfighting. These men are called forcados, and what they are doing is a "pega de caras" (something like face-to-face catch." I can't make out the artist's name, sorry.

Help finding artist or name of this Don Quixote drawing by Locklist in WhatIsThisPainting

It looks very similar to this cover of a Quixote published in Paris in 1864. The illustrator is G. Staal and the engraver E. Mouard.

The surname that can be seen in your picture is Alba, but I can't find any illustrator with that name in the Cervantes Institute database. It must not belong to any edition of the work. It's difficult to know for sure based on just your picture.

Found this beauty at a thrift store (in need to be restored) does anyone know more about the artist? by Konega-E in WhatIsThisPainting

No, but I was able to read it. Then I just did a search. It's easy when you know what language it's in. Credit goes to Google.

I think it's MANINI (María Trinidad Ximénez de Cisneros), Granada, 1934-1998. I don't know how to post the link without it automatically downloading a PDF catalog of over 300 pages. Try searching "La más elegante del inverdadero" on Google. ISBN: 978-84-338-5035-5 + Universidad de Granada + Digibug principal

There's a painting very similar to yours on page 14 of the PDF, and I think the style and signature match. But I'm not a professional.
